Matty Schrock: Casualty Edit

On June 2nd Matty Schrock fell and hit his head while attempting the gap in the beginning of the edit.
The impact caused a fracture in the front of his skull and two blood clots. One on the right side of his brain and one on the left.
He spent the next 8 days in the hospital. Luckily, Matty Schrock is a beast and was back on his blades after only a month and a half of recovery.
Mike Buckalew and Matty put together this edit from the past month of Matty’s return to rollerblading.

He should’ve worn a helmet. That’s what happens when you try to look cool.

Well…and again no helmet? But there´s no use talking about that…cam learned his lesson and hopefully Matty will stay lucky! Great edit!

It’s looks painful, I’ve hit my head very hard a long time ago but didn’t go to the hospital, maybe that’s the reason why I’m so dumb today.

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
He should learn from his mistakes and wear a helmet. After taking a slam like that he looks far more foolish not wearing one than he would otherwise.

well hang on a moment
he wasnt doing any gaps like that in the edit
i suggest wearing helmets for those!

the word from the man himself was “, i learned my lesson, i don’t jump gaps with gutters in front of them,”. Sorry kids, sounds like helmets don’t apply here. And besides, just cause a few people got hurt recently everyone freaks out. This kinda thing has happened many times before. It’s a matter of choice, he made his, so shut the fuck up and deal with it.

Just because a few people got hurt, by hurt you mean killed, and card came pretty close. Wear a lid, oh and skating half way through the recovery is a bad idea, blv me those clotts (hematomas) will be kick your ass in 10 to 15 years.

Why is everybody saying that HE should wear a helmet. Everybody who does this kind of shit should wear a helmet, not just the ones who have already fallen on their heads.
