Martin Ericson: K2 Varsity Tryout Session
Swedish K2 veteran Martin Ericson skating the new samples from K2.
He used to be on the K2 Team in sweden back in the early 90’s.
He is now pushing his 30’s but still got game after so many years of being inactive within the swedish skating community.
We are all happy to get one of our biggest veterans back in the game.

When we saw the first pics there were a few guys who stated that maybe they´ll look good once someone has em on his feet and they were showing a bit of wear. Now we can all see that this skate doesn´t look under “any”circumstances.

i won’t buy them, not even for the souls.
i got a white pair of Carbon soul plates and modified them to fit my 2009 Fatty Pros. the souls and negatives are wider, and look a shit ton better than these red ones. they also skate way better than stock. Come on K2, when will you get the soul situation right?

ha this edit is sweet , and pushing 30’s? damn i hope I will be doing the same in the future, and since when does the skate make the skater?
im just saying it doesn’t really matter which skate you have on as long as you use them to have fun and enjoy Blading , thats the true value of rolling =]

this is my first blog/post i think the skates are nice dont look like they are keeping with times which is gd i think in some cases dont change it if its ok anyway. much respect to martin he still got it, much love. keep rolling.

You guys are all ripping into K2 because of what they were like in the past.. Granted, i skated Pat Lennens for my first skate, obviously i didnt know any better then because i thought they were sick as fuck. now they clearly are not. K2 Varsity though looks much better, kind of looks like a red os boot. How many of you have actually tried them? and can actually say what they skate like before putting them down.

What has k2 done for rollerblading? Of course they are going to try and come back and make a skate. The industry is actually doing better now. Don’t give your money to this company. If things go bad, they abandon ship.

Ok first k2 left because no one gave the skate a chance and let themselves see how good they were. They had to drop the team and just take a break to let them gain the funds to bring back a skate that people would enjoy. Im glad k2 is trying to make a come back. Rollerblading needs alittle more to help kids look at differnt skates and what they would like. Personaly ive always loved k2 and rollerblade. A few years ago everyone was hatin on rollerblade now everyone loves them.

i agree with roll247 the 250CC may have been the best k2 skate ever good soul great wrap around bacslide plate and real comfy most of the tricks i do do today i either learned or locked down whith those 250cc allthey would need know is a stronger cuff
