L’Oreal Paris: Skating Game & Videos

l'oreal skating game

L’Oreal Paris published a nice online (shockwave) skating game. You can play it here for free. Some video were posted on the same page.

The skater strangely looks like Taig Khris ;).

lol DRAIN! a bit overly enthusiastic for such a piece of shit game! inexplicably addictive though! i just wasted 10 minutes of my life playing that. props to l’oreal for supporting. if i used hair products i’d buy their shit indeed. nontheless this is probably one of the most hilarious things to happen in rollerblading ever! what’s with the products you collect? can you trade em in for a better hairstyle later on? haha.

    nice

  8. koubis Says:

The hair products give you one extra second for the run if i’m not wrong, the goal of the game is to finish the run with the style bar filled so you can go to the next level.

    i’m stuck at level 2 ^^

Yes royal is the only grind, and this is too bad, it would bave been awesome (and not so hard, since the game is allready done) to ad 3 or 4 more combo grinds, done by a key combination.

does anyone remeber a flash game someone made with frankey morales as the charachter? it was just a woodward start box wth a rail and you would just do as many spins and swith ups as you can. easily one of the coolest rolling flash games, definetly the most addictive.. wish i could find it

Ok, the game is not a big thing, but I wonder why anytime a company aproaches to rolling, peoples start hating??? Its just fun and publicity… could even help to make rolling better known…

  18. sk8rs_s0uL Says:

man after i saw that picture of the game all i could think was why dont we have our own real deal big world like fucking world of warcraft crazy shit video game for rollers by rollers doing it like we do and man when that game comes out im sooooo on it. hurry up and make that shit man. o and if you bring up those games rolling and aggressive inline and tell me to play that shit you can go dump on yourself cuz that shits dead like rollerblading to the world. fuck!

  19. koubis Says:

Frank, i got the same point of view ^^

The game is far from being perfect or even good, but it was a really nice surprise to see that a well known company actually invested some money in a rollerblading material.

  20. James M Says:

The point is that the people who came up with this campaign have staked their professional reputations, not to mention a huge pile of cash, on linking their product with something they believe has real credibility and mass market appeal. They could have chosen any sport, but they chose rollerblading. Interesting, don’t you think?

    Yeap, Frank is right

Haha, nice to get coverage, but cmon, we’re the hair care sport now?

    Money is money.

  23. peedubb Says:

I can do it, but i need programers, of which i can find, and a company to back the funding, then it’s on.

I would be the greatist thing since slice cheese….for real
