The LG Action Sports World Tour Comes to Berlin
The LG Action Sports World Tour heads to the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin August 26 & 27

The LG Action Sports World Tour, the world’s only global competition series, is coming to the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin for its third European event of 2006!

Come out and witness more than 100 of the world’s best skateboarders, BMX riders and inline skaters competing for $130,000 in cash and prizes as well as valuable ranking points toward qualifying into the LG Action Sports World Championships. The event in Berlin is part of the only global competition circuit in action sports and includes tour stops in seven countries, culminating in the World Championships in Dallas, Texas this October.

But there’s more! The LG Action Sports World Tour is partnering with OFFPOP! Music Day, a music celebration that brings an international club culture into the open air. OFFPOP! Music Day features Europe’s largest outdoor dance floor across 20 stages, and will combine with the LG Action Sports World Tour to create an epic street festival in Berlin’s most famous location.

Besides the top pros in action sports, the event also includes mind-boggling freestyle motocross exhibitions and a host of interactive fan exhibits, including break-dancing competitions, athlete autograph sessions, video games, street artists and tons of prize giveaways!

Some of the top pros that are expected to attend in this international field of talent include: Simon Tabron (UK), Eito Yasutoko (JAP), Takeshi Yasutoko (JAP), Sandro Dias (BRA), Pierre Luc Gagnon (CAN), Mathias Ringstrom (SWE), Anthony Furlong (USA), John Parker (USA), Jake Brown (AUS), Taig Khris (FRA), Fabiola da Silva (BRA), Nel Martin (ESP), Shane Yost (TAS), Kevin Robinson (USA), Dave Dillewaard (AUS), Steven McCann (AUS) and World Champions, Tobias Wicke and Bruno Loewe, from Germany. they shays bros make about $75,000 a year each and have company cars. plus they have over 10grand of company money each to spend on “entertainment expences” and travel all over the world for free. 130,000 between all the events?

  4. angelo ferrer Says:

i dont like the way teh ramps are so big that u cant even grasp the difficulty from the tricks thrown, its like where stuck ina generation of ramps that havent really gotten better as far as comps go an i dont see skate comps on tv so only a few edit here an there but the ramp set ups always the same these big bulky ramps an it just doesnt even have a desent line in this one not the skaters fault just the over all way the park was set up, i do admit that the location made it all seem good ,, but wats wit that gay music damm.

  5. omar Says:

we need a bigger park then that. thats is just way to small.

  6. Kevin Baguley Says:

That park was so small and not much of a street course thats for sure…. Not much to grind it was like a vert street course for some reason??? Oh and what a lame song to that edit too….. needed some different camera shots and angles too

  7. Greg Says:

The park was set up much like local parks only with bigger ramps. Quarter pipe type ramps on one end, boxs and spines in the middle, and quarter pipe type ramps on the other end.

  8. p2roll4life Says:

that`s it! nobody was doin any thing new! nobody went big! everyone doin 540 and 720`s that it! maybe cause it is the park.

  9. razors_2005 Says:

that was pretty shit, bad skating, bad camera angle an bad music

  10. angelo ferrer Says:

p2roll trust me it was the park thas regulation size ramps which means ther anywhere from the lowest being 7 ft to the highest like 20 those things are meant for bikes an skate boards the overall transistions of those ramps make lil things way harder in teh sence ur skate wheels are like marbels compared to the size of the ramps.. i wanna see curvy rails , wavey ledges , drop obstacles an stuff to jump threw in compatitions , everyone seen that ATL WATERPARK SESSION i mean if u can do stuff like that on skates then why not build it for a compatition , oh well the sports got no love i cant stand how thers never any rollerblading on tv only when they show a fall, i mean how the hell did wakeboarding surpass rollerblading are they literaly fuckin blind to see the bigest stuff thas gettin pulld by skaters,, yeah we arent snowboarders or motor x but shit gets laced……….. WHA THE FUCK IS A SLAM DUNK WHY DOES THAT FILL UP CROWDS, AN with skaters cant even get a 10 head session goin on,, I dunoh it just gets me mad that they fly these pros out to places to skate these fuckd up set up ramps like there some kinda puppets yeah skate thiss, im not hating just highly upset at the way our sport is gettin treated

I don’t think that Chris Haffey taking part in contest. On 26-28 he’ll be in Moscow with Morales on “Adrenalin Games” and at the street contest.
