Laura is a good skater. She proved that by winning the Queen of the Slamm at the Slamm Jamm and coming third at NASS last year. There may be better female skaters, but I don’t see them travelling all over the country to skate and meet people. If they are out there and want more coverage, then it’s not difficult. Enter the comps, or just travel and skate. Either way, it doesn’t matter how amazing you are if no-one ever sees it.

Sorry, but I know most (8) of those girls. Laura beat 3 of them at Slamm Jamm, and 2 of them at NASS. I’m not saying she’s the best, because I’ve seen all of the girls have good and bad sessions. What I am saying is that some people on here are talking crap. Any of the haters seen Laura skate recently?
The thing I’d like to know, is what is all this alleged coverage she’s getting? How is she “up her own arse”? I have NEVER heard her say she’s any better than the other girl skaters. She’s no “big time” skater - she’ll skate with anyone and have a laugh. Get to know her before you decide what she’s like.

Well actually only because laura has bet some of them duncan dosn’t mean that shes better than them. Jenna is definately top in england with emma brown behind, and then becci. Then laura and the rest of them come behind. Has laura got a british, european, or world title??????….No! so whats the fuss about her!
you know jennas a pro, so is becci, and emma brown is one of the youngest, and next up there of the british, and even world skaters.
They all never get any recognition so why does laura get all of the attention. The uk scene is messed. Why do we only publisise our friends?

I think laura is safe and pushes herself hard and if she gets coverage its a bonus, i’ve skated with her once or twice on park and enjoyed the session. I do still roll and i’m not big on the limelight so i dont enter much comps but maybe us girls should enter more comps and travel more, but there is also the factor that it all costs money and time off wrk, so its hard to get bout for me anyway so no i dont get to every comp altho i’d love too but i think any girl skater that wants to get known should just go out and show their style and talent. Maybe i’ll be at the next comp competing and maybe i’ve been out uping my game but it all boils down to how things go on the day. You could either perform great and maybe win or not perform and come last but the fact you competed is all that counts and if ya did ya best so be it :) peace guys i’m out but not off the scene :P

Plus there are a load of ultimately amazing girls out there without coverage but some may choose to not be out there in every1s face and others just are unlucky, or sometimes it can be a connection thing but hey if ya push yaself anything can happen and if ya want the coverage it can happen you just gotta mk it happen.
