these lastman standing comps r deff fun cause every1 gets togeather ….but i sware every single spot skated in all of these comps were garbageme and jon ortiz even said it that @ least the last comp should have been the best 3 spots in NYC…..the curve ledge around 40st the perfect ledges on 43st (circleline, boardwalk, perfects) w.e. u wanan call them…and then for the last spot bottle rais a not to long not to short down rail thats reallll mellow…….woulda been great hopefully next year jon !!
but the banks i think was the best/worst comp out of all 5………it was deff the best cause EVERYONE showed up even dre powell and it was a fun ass day….but once again the spots were garbage……except that greenbox that was preety sick but the floor of the banks sucks hahaha
idkk…..jus need 2 b better planned spots
peace

and regarding nunzio, i’ve gotten kicked out of bottle rails at night with like 5 people i could imagine broad day light and like 200 kids. but yeah spots were okay, but still fun comp, big faces, good day.

This is Victor Callender the organizer of the Last Man Standing Comp, i cannot help but to reply to all the negativity about the series of competition. First of all Fish NEVER paid or mentioned to me that he wanted to be in the comp. he was just skating for FUN. Second, i gave everyone the opportunity to pick the skate spots and no one got back to me so i had to pick (a true skater can skate anything) that’s why at the end of each comp there was a winner. Third, instead of wasting so much time criticizing the wonderful work that others are doing why don’t you’ll start somthing. Last, the purpose of me starting this evet was not to compete with anyone but to keep the sport alive by bring the masses together.

yea shut up and respect the banks………..without the banks calvin would have never won those lowriders

Sick.
But I’m getting fed up of every comp having spots that are grind-orientated only.
Warm-up ledge.
Rail.
Stair rail.
Drop rail.
That tends to be the normal pattern now (not this vid but still, all the spots were grind-based) and I’d like to see people who have all-round ability a bit more instead of a winner being announced on his ability to Lord of the Dance down a mellow twelve stair.
