yeah another rip off, great stuff from the conference, wankstars

  2. DF2T Says:

Une fois de plus, kizer sort une imitation… C’est donc la Kizer Featherlite

  3. TecniG Says:

sick frames, and when you mean that kizer has stolen the design from the gc featherlights, notice that gc has stolen the design from the fluids

  4. Henry Salmela Says:

those look so much better than featherlites!

  5. Oli B Says:

We started design for these frames about 4 months before the featherlight frame pictures were released. We weren’t copying anything, either way it isnt rocket science, its a clear evolution for a frame, wide h-block, easy rockering for a variety of effective wheel setups, light weight and with minimal friction. Its not a copy of anything. It is an original design started before we even knew of the featherlights.

  6. jomu Says:

can we get a frame where the h-block groove isn’t as wide as the wheel split?

This way there will be more wheel protection and also some break in time.

Can you explain more about the rockering options and also state what maximum wheel sizes are possible for each frame size (outer and inner axles)

  7. Grabietz Says:

This frame is more than a good sex. I just skatet it one time, an that was very good. you can easily roll flat, and you have no problems and you are a lot faster. I will defently buy one of these cuties

  8. JP Says:

Jomu, just looking at it we can tell that the rockets are in DOWN position, with 58mm wheels, and there´s still a lot of room (at lease in the front and back wheels). So… I guess we can use a 60mm wheels in the outside : ) , like hi-lo style.

but what i want now is to ride this new uc pro wheels “lowrider style”, with rockets positioned UP. I think this way would be more like you want, with more wheel protection.

  9. bastard Says:

i really like the look of them. featherlite is good, so i gota try these.

  10. jomu Says:

    JP,

I never even thought of lowrider style. Thats great. I’m really interested in these frames.

Any idea when they will be available to buy and what they will cost?

I’m hoping they are as cheap as fluids

Jomu, just looking at it we can tell that the rockets are in DOWN position…

The rockets???? Muhahaha..yeah…I like my hellfire kizer´s….

  12. flowskate Says:

ive been wanting to start riding flat set up for a while now, but have been concerned that ill lose my grinding capabilities (as im not all that fresh at grinds anyway!)
these look like the answer to me
look how much space there is with a flat set up!
    sick
    think about the power ups!

  13. Bkrans Says:

Sure the featherlights are light, but wear too fast. I’m a Kizer fan and pumped as hell to try these out.

  14. Edgar Says:

Hopefully they won’t wear down as fast as the featherlites. I hate the fact that the featherlite frames always break in half in the middle of a trick, I hope theis don’t do that.

  15. Jay Cottrell Says:

I dont understand why any body thinks these would be a good flat frame, has anyone here ever rode a flat rocker set up with a deep groove like this? its pretty awful, if i wanted a flat frame i would be looking at something like the original kizer fluid frames, the grooves smaller and further down the frame, which is what most normal people would want in a flat rocker frame

  16. b.ballog Says:

not a rip off of the featherlite….look at that groove. Looks promising.

  17. WOW Says:

    im getting them

  18. pocket Says:

Me likes. Looks like they took a few cues from the Element frames like the wheel spacing and groove and made one solid unit. The concave above the hblock is interesting. Gets rid of that void above the hblock of most frames, maybe even makes it more resistant to cracking like the FL. It be cool if they made these for “1-hand operation,” but not in the way GC and RB did. Kizer could try reversing the spacer between the frame and wheel, tap in a thread, and reuse the hardware from Elements. Less hardware = lighter frame. That’s what I’d do if I was on the take.

  19. KORAZ Says:

xsjado damien willson+ kizer slimline= HOT HOT HOT

  20. BluPowder Says:

i dunno about you guys but…. the centre looks like it could break or crack easily…. no offence….

  21. satan Says:

true, deep groove/flat set-up sound like a terrible combo! frames still look aamzing, i’d rock em.

  22. JP Says:

goove is not that deep, man… and depends on wich size of wheels you use………..

flat that don´t feel flat when grinding. That´s the idea.

Jomu, slimline just in next season…. ;)

  23. nat Says:

imagine doing a square drop kink

or even a kinked square rail.. or a thin round kinked rail.. that indent doesnt look that good now does it?

  24. akari Says:

Make UHMW frame again. I NEED THEM! NOW! Make them like that but just pure UHMW.. We will slide for days maybe years or even centuries…..

i just miss my dimonds so so much. As of now i am attemping to cut my dimond frames and put them on my elements… I dream, but my measurments are a bit off now.

  25. Maik Says:

i heard that these frames have the same problem as the fluids…they are way to hard..

the featherlites are perfect concerning the material…i loved the fluids but they were sooo hard…

and when these babies have the same problem..i think i won’t buy myself one of these

  26. s070s Says:

there’s probally know one how rides a flat setup at the conference!
nice idea, but the groove is much to big. The middel wheels are sicking out from the innerside of the groove.

this frame with a standard groove ( like the kizer frame on the usd kids model ) would be perfect. Because then the middelwheel are covert and you won’t get stuck on them.

  27. Nytro Says:

Oli defends his project well but …
    Kizer copyed obviously the FLT
It’s funny to see that the draws of the frames were made 4 weeks or something like thatbefore the FLT frames … and so what …?
It means that GC put Shima in matches box for spying …
Anyway… true skaters prefer avoid kizer

  28. Jon Says:

haha wtf…anywho even if they did copy GC it doesnt matter, since theres wil end up being aot better . they hav basicly done what GC didnt…anywho who gives a shit who made this or that frame first in the end ppl who like GC will still ride gcs and so goes for kizer and any frame out there, they are just giving the ppl who ride their frames the option of having a GC FL type frame but with kizers touch

  29. voice of reason Says:

Anyone who thinks that these are a copy of the featherlights, should look at the type m frames from Kizer and the Formula 1 frames from ground control. GC copied Kizer that time, but with improvements, like having a four wheel setup.

Who gives a shit. Everyone is just taking good ideas and improving on them, it’s only good for the skaters.

You don’t see McDonalds suing Burger King for making burgers.

  30. joe Says:

if i bought them i wouldnt the middle wheels in, just skate it freestyle, but yes i know what would be the point.
