Kelso Brothers Setups
Take a look at the Kelsos Customs. What we have here is a pretty original setup : a mix of freestyle and anti-rocker : 2 wheels on the front and one in the back !
And the Kelso Brothers will be on Tour with Chino on the Hedonskate East Tour

What does this kinda setup do? I’m assuming flat-rockered support but easier for backsides.

well if you look at the bottom view of the last skates you can see the plastic on the frame has been used, the plastic is comin over the side. must be why theyv taken out the 3rd wheel, beta backside grinds =D

thats a pretty g idea, i dont think its just to throw people off…anyone see the brotherly love edit in the genre vid, their skating makes sense that they would just have the 3 wheels…im asuming backslide/torque switchups and shit are way smoother…might just have to try that shit

my left skate is like that cause i lost some frame spacers. i use my left skate for topsides and royales and it does make it smoother goin from royale to ao topporn

yeah i’ve herad something bout this whole wheel thing, if im not mistaking in theyr other skate they would have the wheel in the back and missing one in front so it be vise versa to the other skate. i think thats what it is

Three down has been around forever. I used to roll it on my dirks. Always back centre wheel missing cos lean back onbacksides more and stick that way.

they did it do they can have the feel of a flat rocker setup, but not get cought up so easily on backside tricks.

i think it should be the other way around. cuz for gaps most of the weight goes on the back wheels. and especially gcs, they break easy, they need the strenght

so, they were yesterday at the tour in our country and i seen them doing all torqs backslides etc and for them it was no problem to do it no matter 2 or 3 wheels, and colin did just amazing 540 abstracts and other very hot shit!!!

Yup, when i talked to Colin, why he skates like that, he said that he just would never skate freestyle frames, cuz he thinks that rolling freestyle is not rolling! eh… i love freestyles, but i love Kelsos :D
and sean did some reaaly smooth frontside torques un a ledge, so having a wheel in front doesn`t matter to them!

i remember back in the day we used to skate 2 and 1 cause we had too. but i know the kelso bros, and the way they skate, that shit is needed. i dont want to come off as a poser or a “copy cat” but im def gonna try that!

actully…ive been skating that way since I have started (2-3 years ago) its not new…but it works….the weight for spins and turns are put on ur front wheels, and landing is ur back wheel…so rly, ur thrid wheel is NOT NESSISARY! if u want responce…with better torque/switchup/varation possibilitys…its the way to go, even if it looks funny =D
