some of these comments are actually just plain racist. The comment in the actual edit was less offensive than whats being said here. Also no one’s entitled to make generalizations about all Irish people not giving a fuck. I’m Irish and I care. That’s just ignorance and completely untrue. But some people are just ignorant regardless of race, color, nationality etc. I think people are over reacting a little while it wasn’t a professional decision to include that remark. This exact remark has been used by white rollerbladers in notable videos in the past and while that mightn’t be correct it’s how it is. I’m not condoning the use of the n wrd. No one can say it was appropriate but we can come to an explanation for it. It’s only a word regardless of it’s meaning and racist associations just because some white people have used this word negatively in history esp. in america does’nt mean it’s only use has to be negative. For example in most rap and hip hop music the n word is a prominent feature. So essentially are we living in a world where it’s ok for a black person to say the n word and not a white person or else they’re automatically classed as being racist. Its like saying anyone in germany who is’nt a jew and says the word jew is a nazi it’s simply ridiculious. It would be a little naive to hold this view. I think the use of the n wrd in this particular edt was influenced by the hip hop mindset which is a part of our culture and was’nt meant to cause deliberate offense to anyone. Blame mtv. Blame rap. – the country man.

Another valid point is that you can’t even identify who’s saying the remark.

Yeah some people are bitching because he said “nigga.” its not something you want in an edit which is being posted alongside an advert for the companies frames…..

Also why was the edit put with the frames?? the edit has nothing to do with the frames at all.

Im certain if the N word was used in this video without it being linked to the sale of the frames not as many people would care.

Do you personally liked to be called names? No. And it doesn’t matter if he was saying it out of context. The word is demeaning. He could have used ANNYYY other word out in the fucking dictionary. But he uses one that has been oppressing blacks for nearly 300 years?
