….yeah, tht is what stunned me too, but I guess this is like the last time they produced this kind of ad…there are probably again three different versions…you know just differing in the quantity of each sport…

yer thats a cool advert do ya reckon nike will start sponsering rollerblading in japan or china. its annoying coz that kind of advert will never come out over here in britain but over in china or japan they come out.

I think it actually covers all 3 sports, probably pretty equally, Koubis just cut out the bmx and skateboard sections. In the opening sequence, though, rollerblading was more heavily displayed. The exact opposite of the U.S.

TAIWAN IS NOT JAPAN OR CHINA
September 6th, 2006 at 1:48 am
THE SHORT FILM IS ABOUT A GHUY WHO MADE A COMMUNITY EIGHT YEARS TO HELP PEOPLE WHO ARE INTO AGGRESSIVE SPORTS. AND, THOSE KIDS ARE BASICALLY TELLING PEOPLE WHAT IS THE MEANING OF BEING AGGRESSIVE AND WHY THEY WANT TO PUSH THEMSELVES.

Nike has nothing to do with rollerblading…
And its just the marketing strategies that NIKE TAIWAN is using.
I really doubt that Japan will do the same since Japan has a bigger scence
in soccer and basket ball.
And I really doubt that the states would do the same cause theyre scene is
baseball and basket ball.
But yeah, If they dont suck our sport why not?
Good exposure anyway.

qcsky : but Taiwan is not in the China Republic ?
September 6th, 2006 at 3:01 pm
well, koubis, you are half right.
technically, TAIWAN= republic of china. and China=people’s republic of china.
taiwan=democracy
china= communist
taiwan has it’s own government, and if you go there, no one is gonna tell you taiwan=china.
so, yeah, i know this is confusing even most of the people who are from the area but time is going to change everything.
thank you for caring. thank you
