De la bombe. Ça fait trop longtemps que les gens ont l’occasion de dire qu’on voit pas assez Cudot en street, alors qu’il nique tout, en park ET en street depuis un moment. Un street edit propre et bien monté fera beaucoup de ménage chez les mauvaises langues, j’ai hâte de voir ce qui n’a pas été “left over”.

à la fois complètement ouf et à la fois, personnelement, j’aime pas du tout.
un level hallucinant, mais un manque cruel de style à mon goût.. autant dans le skating que dans le vestimentaire les Carbon et les slim.. ça ne lui va pas du tout, ( et encore une fois ce n’est que mon avis perso’ )
mis à part ça, j’ai vraiment hate de voir comme dis Diaz, ce qui n’a pas été “left over”.

cudot est très bon, il fait des gros tricks qui sont difficile mais
je trouves qu’il manque de saveur. J’aimerais mieux voir un topsoul
très stylé que de voir un gros switchup sans saveur. En tk c’est mon opinion
mais reste que cudot tue en street et en park. Keep rolling.

Cudot’s got the Feinberg syndrome, too many years of park makes him look awkward when skating street. The only reason Feinberg got away with it is because he threw down some seriously death defying hammers back in his hay day. I think Cudot’s well on his way to becoming a good street skater, but he’s still got a ways to go.

here’s the real reason from Brandon Smith’s interview:
“I don’t think there should be homie cam edits of an up and comer right next to an edit Ivan makes of Alex Broskow.”
He’s afraid we won’t be able to “differentiate between quality blading and stuff that isn’t up to par.” so like, there’s no reason to have an Ivan Narez edit right next to say, a CJ Wellsmore or Josiah Blee edit, because we might stupidly prefer an up and comer over Brosky.
If pros were smart, they would stick with his other statement from that interview: “people just like to talk shit for no reason… it really doesn’t bother me at all.”
sick edit Julien! your style has gotten so much more refined and good luck at WinterClash!! Up and comers will keep our sport going, but sadly, may end up pushing other pros out. It’s just the way it goes.

Good to see Julien skate some street, he will be one of the best some day :)
And to the people so fucking stupid, they don’t get why the young guns goes bigger the good ‘ol pros. -For example Broskow and S. Kelso has been killing it for years now, and they has done exactly the same as Cudot and other young up and comers, in their prime.
But fact is, they are two of the most technical and controlled skaters today. And there is no way Cudot could do the things they do. He will surely get there, but for now he has to go big to get noticed.
Stop hating, it’s all skating.. skating isn’t about who goes biggest.

His style is getting so much better, and if he can do the insane stuff he does on parks AND skate so solidly on street (and I’m sure he’ll only get better on street) – the guy deserves some respect! Edit très très sympa, tant au nveau de la musique que du montage.
Le skating comme le style sont très bons, ça me sidère les critiques qui taillent son style, il a grave progressé, il est propre.

Julien Cudot est très fort et ce qui est énorme c’est qu’il en grave sous le coude; il ne sort pas l’ensemble de ses tricks parce que les autres skaters seraient trop dégoustaches et les spots surlesquels l’emmène ses potos sont trop petits!
Pour ce qui est de l’édit, faut pas s’attendre a du Joe Navran si c’est réalisé par le copain mais bon no money dans le roller a pour conséquence ce genre de biz.
En tout cas bon skating, ça fait toujours plaiz!

if i were a pro in this industry, i wouldn’t put out edits for you kids either. you whine no matter what, you’re all to cheap to buy the skates these pros support unless the skates have race car materials not made for skating so you can think the price of your skates indicates your skill level, and you spend so much time on messageboards instead of skating that the majority of you are embarrassing to watch skate. CUDOT is not a street skater, he’s not even an OK street skater. that kid looked so uncomfortable not being on a bank ramp or quaterpipe it’s laughable. euros want to be like americans but you never will be. our pros are better, get over it. you can’t make hip hop tracks the right way, you can’t cover our blues music the right way, and you can’t outskate us. you can’t even name 3 top euro pros that could out skate BOLINO or FRANKY, two pros who can lace any trick on any obstacle, let alone any of our other best skaters. BOTH Kelsos shit on this kid in their sleep. this kid could skate his whole like and never put out a section as either of the Kelso’s Genre sections and those aren’t even their best. get over yourself Europe, someone has to be 2nd place and it’s you.

skating standards are at such a low level, partially due to message board sites like this and to kid’s outright laziness and fear of pain/injury, that these “leftovers” are deemed “killing it” on street. this is a regular good week of skating for an average person who spends their time progressing, not blogging and chatting. there’s nothing special here. leftovers or not your skating should be at a such a higher level than anyone on one of these sorry ass sites, myself included, being that you’re am/pro or whatever the hell this kid is. but in today’s world: the over 25+ crowd of original skaters w/ real balls and skills and experience, thus giving them the knowledge to aptly judge real skill or the lack thereof, is being left behind for inexperienced “mr nice guys” and kissing hella ass teens who are down to session small like skateboarders instead of real deal Holyfield rollerbladers.

Cudot is def not better than Bolino, and that’s not meant to be a put down. I want to wait to see Cudot’s street section before I comment on his spot in rollerblading. He certainly has the park part down, and the kid loves hammers. I have to believe he brings the same spirit to street. I think he has the skills on rails and ledges to have a legit section. I am excited to see what comes out of this.

Julien’s style is improving and for the most part, he is way better than most the average skaters that view this board. He still shouldn’t have beat Broskow Haffey in that one competition way back because his style is non existent then. I think he will get there though, his style is getting there, now he has to go big like all the big boys, that means STUNTS. I also liked the capri pants in the edit, he’s pushing the rolling fashion too.

Seems like all the pros can’t handle the fact that DVDs sales in skating/skateboarding/BMX and just about everywhere else have just about died off all together. The times are a changin I believe it goes..You have to put out online content these days. If it is that good, it will be re-watchable. Plenty of old edits I still watch online all the time. But to say that some of the pro’s don’t want to put edits online because they are scared that people will like an AM or Flow edit more..THAT IS SAD!! Back in the day there was no question as to who the Pro’s were and who wasn’t. No one ever said..you know, I do like Dustin Latimer’s skating but Walt Austin is better..No n I love Walt. But that just isn’t how it goes. You skating should speak for you! Not your clothes or the hat or your trendy jeans rolled up to Jorts that you wear while skating.
The Pro’s aren’t worried that your gonna like someone elses edit more because of the quality film work. They just don’t want to get ripped a new asshole because some kid who isn’t even getting paid is skating 10 times harder than they are. Yes, Sean Kelso and AB have a ton of control on the blades. That does NOT mean they have to show you that skill on a 6 stair rail. I feel like the younger skaters are now starting to push past this trendy foot high ledge, 6 stair rail skating BS. I can’t wait to see all the great kids to come up this year!

hes now more confident and looks like hes having fun. Cant believe people judge this guy bcz of where hes from and what his style was like. His skating is changing and you need to appreciate that this kid has pressure on him from people saying bad things about him and lots of negativity all the time. Do you really want to pick out the bad things about him? Or find the things you enjoyed about his skating (unless your too closed-minded to find any). Pretend youve never heard of him and that you are watching someone new. Some people get a little too angry and serious about skating….after all , its about having fun with friends and enjoying the experience. No need to complain and ponder about problems with this guys skating. If you dont like it, dont comment and dont tell others that there opinions are wrong or stupid. That doesnt even make sense if you think about it, and dont think that everyone thinks (or should think) the same way as you do.
