Yeah so what if it was a little to do with his dad being in the position he is in. but wouldnt you love to have a signature skate when you were only nine years old, young jojo has at least got himself publicity and he will be known in the rollerblading industry growing up, all you sad people who sit in bitching about some young kid who is undoubtbly sick for his age and who has a skate out are all fucking jealous. your bringing the sport down. say if some young kid wants to start rolling but his parents see you guys giving johanny shit, i know they’d definately not let them.

So im with anyone else who agrees that Jojo is a sick kid and has got a good opportunity in skating and shouldnt be bitched about. end of discussion.

Really? What do you all have against me. Comments like this make me not want to put all of our efforts into helping to build this struggling lifestyle as you would call it. Lets continue to do everything that does not bring numbers into the sport. Lets not focus on bringing new kids into this sport.

It is pretty sad that all you do is push everyone away that is trying to help the sport, and all you do is sit on your ass and complain.. fucking do something about the struggling sport and quit with the shit talking..

This must be the most embarrassing thread in Rollernews history. What other sport would you find participants bashing a 9-year old? Only ours. Which is why we’ve deteriorated from a sport to a bunch of losers who try to convince themselves they are relevant.

One guy is even giving Ritchie advice on how to be a parent. LOL.

Regarding the marketing, sheer genius as to whoever thought this up. USD will gain market share in America, where they have been weak. Young kids will go to Woodward and skate for a week with Jo Jo, and then convince their parents to buy his skate instead of the cheap skates at a sports store. Brilliant!

I do know one thing for a fact, the losers on this forum will fade away into oblivion, and kids like JoJo will help rebuild the sport.

That skate is beautiful. Congrats Johanny on your new signature skate. Im going to get a pair of those for my son who is now 6 months and 20lbs and hide them away til hes a little older, I love the green. Richie I think you and Pam are doing a great job with your kids. I have 3 children myself, 10,8 and 6 months and I know how hard it is to raise kids right. Hopefully I’ll see you at BCSD X! Health and Love to you and your family!

That Japanese girl was amazing, at the beginning I thought she was good for a little kid when she was sessioning that prail, then she busted out some airs and transition skating and I was really impressed.
Didn’t watch Jojo or whatever his name is, if my dad was an inline skater and I grew up at woodward I’d expect to be good at that age too, it should be a given really. Best of luck to him though not that he needs any.

so no he’s not better than me, not yet anyways, and he’s clearly far more advantaged when it comes to getting to go skating, and being supported and the places he can skate, than most kids and i swear i’ve seen kids that age doing bigger shit in uk and not thought too much of it…

so cool and all that he help his little buddies out but that love needs to be spread to all the kids who roll man not just a select privileged few.

hey richie, ur doin a good job and all but the haters will get him one day so dont wrap him up in cotton wool, it will only lower his defenses, you should let him see the whole picture, let him work out who’s right and who’s wrong, he might find constructive criticism and he might find praise and if he cant see any reason to skate whatever comments he may read then he isn’t doing it for himself now is he?

i personally don’t think he’s that good but he’s still better than me so i wouldn’t let it worry him.
