You have to give it to SSM, even though they lost montre – they still have an impressive team. Kelso, Chase, Moreno, O’neill, Hyden, Bolino, Humphries, Shima. And if the guy above me is serious – well yeah, I’m sure he did try hard…..some of those tricks.

^yeah, i’ve heard it used as a putdown before. It means someone who isn’t naturally as talented so they have to try harder to land all their tricks, or that’s my interpretation. But in no way do I think this describes Joey Chase.
It’s like at a comp you see someone bust their arse 5 times in a row to land a trick, and then someone like Haffey comes along and laces it first try, and laces it better than the guy who had to try 5 times to land it.
