Typically I will disagree with negative comments, and while I disagree with how some of these comments are worded… I cannot disagree with the fact that this company did in fact turn it’s back on skating practically to cash in on fashion. It’s apparent rollers like fashion, but man not everyone’s bank accounts are bottomless and I like high end fashion, but I’m not spending 30 bucks on a tee shirt. Sorry can’t do it.
I’m glad “Gost” is around because it’s basically the same thing (In my opinion!) and it’s backed by Arlo, (who is probably the main reason I started skating eons ago!) and it’s skater oriented.
But as far as skater owned companies, it’s kind of a catch 22 they make original products, but it’s expensive, and I can usually find better quality, and finish elsewhere, and do. I still don’t buy skater owned stuff, and it doesn’t bother me, until the quality gets better, and prices cheaper (either or…) I’m going to stick with Diesel, and other brands. I skate Valo, but I wouldn’t if they were 300 for boot only… Which I why I have no carbons!

i feel like involving yourself in the industry by financially supporting the industry through buying clothing thats skater owned sounds like a great idea but not everyone has the scrill like alot of younger kids livin off there mommy’s salary do. i wish i did, but i’m 23 and work full time to pay for my car to travel out the state 2 or 3 times a year for bootin. and my other bills that have accumilated over the last 5 years (thats life)! HAHA back to the topic, i like the clothes that skate companies put out but i jus don’t have the money for it. i’m sure i’m not the only one. MY2CENTS…….

its fucked. cuz i only remember franco shade from back in the days ( the words days) with aaron feinberg rocking the shit out of those clothes… like the elephant logo n stuff, i mustve been in a coma or something, or maibe its cuz im from canada and mtl was skateshopless for awhile… im happy i never baught those clothes, even though they seem to be nice i guess. i just really dont know what the fuck hapened with this whole splitting the company in 2 things but sure is gay
