Jochen Smuda Interview

ucon

Here is an interview of Jochen Smuda (Ucon Acrobatics) by Revolution. They allready did an interview some times ago that you can find here.

James (revolution): This year.. UCON has expanded it’s team, adding Jon Julio, and creating an Allies Team. We’re excited because you made the choice to work with one of our team riders Damien Wilson. Damien was blown away to be sponsored by UCON. Tell us about those who represent UCON? You also have a new website.

Jochen (ucon): We added Jon to the Ucon Team, which is just amazing because he is one of our all time favorite skaters. It’s unbelievable to have him on the team. It’s really just a dream come true for all of us, and it’s great working with him. We added the allies team this year which consists of our best friends, and people who really believe in Ucon and want to help us realize our dream. The best way to check them all out is to go to ucon-acrobatics.com and read all the interviews and check out all the pics. We have a lot of info on there right now.

James (rev.): We understand the work involved with running your own company. You’re involved with a lot, UCON, producing the CLIP series, and being a “voice” for Xsjado Europe, and also graduating from a university and completing your studies in sports medicine, then skating on top of all that. You must have found a balance between all that you do. Explain what a typical perfect day is like for you?

Jochen (ucon): It’s not really as bad as it sounds. It’s all cool stuff to do. I have a lot of fun doing all this, so that’s really no big deal. I get up between 8-9 a.m and get work done for Ucon. Then doing some sport before lunch is what I really like. Go mountain biking or whatever. I pretty much do a lot of sport. Then work again on some stuff, because I really like to do that. Have a good skate session with my best friends, and then hang out with my girl or party somewhere. Everyday is a good day. I think it depends on you, if the day is gonna be good or not. The key is to find something you really like to do. Definitely the perfect day would have a lot of sport and my girl in it!
