Balls !!!!! Good section for kids who think skating small curbs makes them famous one time – tap your head – not skate spots

this is when rolling was cool. i cant even watch the new stuff. it just looks silly compared to this old er stuff. i mean, their are some exceptions, but rollerblading has definitely lost its swag. tight pants killed rollerblading!! lol.. sounds stupid but it’s true……

This was one of my favourite DVDs which I remember purchasing in NY while of vacation and also got the chance to skate there skatepark in Brooklyn? I believe. I really miss the brown brothers DVDs, they seemed to create a lot of personality in their films that in my eyes has not been matched since…Would love to see a 2013 Brown Brothers collab showcasing some of the biggest names in blading now. I don’t get why people say rollerblading has fell off, this kinda material was awesome but its nothing on say a recent Bolino section – I think because people like Bolino are so flawless in all there tricks they make it look ‘easier to do’ on the eye when really it’s a lot harder than say the tricks in this Howard section because its executed so well and he rolls away so cleanly. Go watch a 2012 Bolino, Broskow or S.Kelso section and just think about the tricks they’re doing and how controlled everything is – all completely flawless and all have a different approach to blading! And Jeph Howard’s wrs section compare that to this and see how Jeph has cleaned everything up (including tight pants) this 1131 section is a big section full of big tricks at that time but the way Jeph is dressed would just look so immature in 2012, I think present day blading looks a lot more defined and matured and will get taken more serious now than ever. xxx
