I dont see too much difference in Dalnas, Kelso or other people skating the carbons ability to do better tricks, they just seem to skate lighter w/ a little less effort. I’d be interested to hear what he thought about the skates. I think the old K2 fatty, Salomon and Roces graal where the best skates, then skate technology didn’t really advance (except for cool looking designs like USD etc.) until Xsjado and now the Carbons.

That was a great edit, Dalnas is so skilled, and IMO he deserves to be pro.

Deshi should now be defunct, none of the original creators are involved anymore, and with them only producing one skate at a time it might as well be a USD skate.

P.S. Carbons are amazing.

feinberg was a different skater,he did mad flips and pretty much all aspects of rolling,whereas dalnas excels in pretty much grinds n shit.. so dalnas does newer school tricks,does it make him better?no.
dalnas is good,but feinberg was a legend in rolling.
you cant compare,its a different league..

anyway,can anybody clarify what is going on with usd riders going carbon? major promo on the carbs or what!? they best be that good..so much hype

Pro = paid… your profession is rollerblading – your living is from that activity… so as long as he is paid by the company USD (well I guess powerslide) then he is pro…
like someone above said at one point you were classed as pro for finishing top (top 20 I think) in an ASA pro contest – however this makes no sense as you were not therefore assured pay from sponsors enough to live…

Deshi – I’m sorry but you should have gone under years ago – who the fuck kicks Iain Mcload of a team? Its simple you should not exist! Ok the skates that have been made are alright… esp the carbons… but maybe they should be classed as Powerslide and or USD rather than Deshi… that being said – who still rides for USD that is ‘amazing’? Demetrious – ok yeah he is but he skates a skate NO ONE else skates in the world… Lomax – ok yeah very good skater… name me some more please because I cannot think of any top top top level skaters on them – this guy we have all just watched the edit of it SICK! but I have to agree with some of the comments above that he is not Finberg standard – but lets be honest is anyone? / Was anyone – its not really comparable…

but yeah so I got bored of my own rant and I think I lost whatever point I was trying to make in the first place… whatever…

Jeff deserves to be pro – but I agree Feinberg or Petty are different in many ways, but jeff is also a skater that promotes hard our sport and loves what he was doing. In the end Feinberg and petty just smoked weed and hardly ever skated.
Xsjado, USD, deshi is all powerslide
Valos, Roces, themgoods and co is all Roces
Sunshine owns Razors, GC, partly Remz, Jug, street artist I think etc.

First, I don’t know what he have done to deserve the Pro tittle. Anyway back in the days to be a Pro, you have to do a lot of mad things and be winning competitions and stuff. You have actually had represent and to live from our sport and to tell you the truth is a shame but at this moment with all this economic situation and our sport being in a suspense,
Second, I really don’t believe that they’re much Pros out there no more. USD had good Pros back in the days like Aaron Feinberg, Josh Petty and Abdiel Colberg. Times where different and if you see some of those clips today they still pump and looks amazing. They where doing tricks that even today a lots of skaters wouldn’t dare to pull.
So don’t get confused and compare Pros with average skaters.
