haha, i apologize that i have to take falls the hard way…i’ve had two surgeries which have left me with a wrist that no longer moves (hence the big white brace). I can’t land on my wrist so I need to pretend like its not there and absorb the fall elsewhere. but thanks for the advice….no really, you’re one awesome dude.

Well i liked the edit it was really solid skating. And that sucks to hear about your wrist. I am glad that you still skate though…

man , im shure with a little bit of physical therapy ( is that the way u say it in english? ) u can regain the use of your wrist ,, and i dont think anyone wanted to hate with the fall comments , u do fall pretty bad :))

In short, by the time the doctors were done fucking up my wrist it was too late for psychical therapy.
If you want to know the actual story, here it is.
I broke my scaphoid bone and tore the ligaments surrounding it in my wrist. I got it x-rayed a couple days after it happened and was told it was sprained and I was fine. A month or so later I returned to get it x-rayed again and they noticed it was broken and put me in a cast for a month or so. After that I still couldn’t move it and was issued an MRI and CTscan, they then realized that the ligaments were all torn and ruptured and decided I needed surgery. During the first surgery they put a screw through my scaphoid bone, they re-cracked the bone with the screw so I was in a full arm cast for almost 4 months while it healed. After that I began physical therapy but was in intense pain so I was issued another set of x-rays where they determined that the screw was placed too far through my bone and rubbing against another bone. Then I had to get a second surgery to remove the screw and they created a bunch of scar tissue around the bone to hold it in place. By this time (over a year later) my ligaments were past the point of repair and I had developed severe arthritis in my wrist. The doctor simply gave me two choices, live with the pain or have my wrist completely fused together and lose 100% movement. So if you actually took the time to read this the answer is yes, they fucked up my shit. And no, there is nothing I can do about it.

wear at least a helmet if you can’t hold your falls with the arm and give a shit about how it looks, but otherwise without the falls we hadn’t such a nice beginning ;).

sry to hear that shit , thats why i stay away from doctors
