Middle school was hard core. I remember how we all wanted to find the biggest ledge, gap or stunt. It´s overwhelming to see Leonov &CO. getting their skin shredded, slam after slam on his head hips and knees. My God he has had some will to go big.
These days (new school/modern skating) I´m glad that that overall attitude to kill ourselves is slowly fading a little bit. Maturing after having found the road to hell is growing up.
This video is some hectic documentation of the northern Europe hammer throwing era. Long and raw, as that age of skating was. Some may say too long for these days, but it´s just that it´s 2004 we´re talking about.
