This is a sick edit. But i dont understand why everyone hates the direction that skating is going. i think that the growing variety in styles including the technical aspects are positive, skating is progressing all over the world with the wrs bringing new talent from europe like julien cudot into the mainsteam. He has been throwing down crazy spins like fakie 720′s to topsoul all year.

212 is some random school in the middle of no where don’t know how to get there. someone took us. and the skate park is a new one they just put in in irvine. It’s at a church off Culver. so if you exit culver off the 5 and you drive all the way down culver past university rode and campus rode you will see huge church on your left and the skate park is in there.

bottom line is super sick. I’ve skated with him a few times while he was inbetween sponsors and I just don’t understand the thinking process of deshi for letting him go. They were not on point for this one. Iain is one of the most talented skaters ever. He can grind like a video game, spin better than Aragon, and has hops like a kangaroo. Not to mention he’s great with kids. That’s what you call a complete skater. He’s creative with his runs and in all honesty, you have to be on your A game just to be in his league on any given day. If you’ve seen the Section he had on O’Connors video, the big full torque on the cream ledge, guys I’m 6’3 and that ledge is up the the top of my chest, on my skates…

@ abel, Iain has had 1 pro model. But he sure as hell deserves more than 1!
@ fuck, Yeah the U.S. certainly deserves ALOT of credit when it comes to rollerblading and its progression. However, I sincerely doubt (at this point in time) that Germans would have that much trouble keeping themselves rolling without American companies. That being said, if there were never any U.S. Companies rollerblading probably would have never gotten anywhere. So in that respect the U.S. does deserve ALOT of gratitude from other countries like Germany.
Anyway, sick ass edit from an amazing skater. Keep doin’ your thing Iain.

This section is amazing…iain mcleod is killing it and keeps getting better and better it is ridiculous. Someone made a very good point that this edit was way better than the edit that the kelso made to support the release of their new skate. But iain hasnt got a pro skate yet….hopefully next year that will be corrected…

Not progressing? Iain has been skating regular and switch, and spinning both ways before some of you suckas were born, before skating switch was a trend in rollerblading.

Watch his older sections and compare the tricks, the kid has evolved like “OH SHIT!”

not to mention he looks stylish and gangsta in any clothes, what some of you recognize as goofyness is that GANGSTA SHIT son! hahahahhaha

and please, stop making comparisons, none of the pros in this industry are milionaires like in skateboarding, we all do it for the love, each people, each style of skating and difficulty. there are enough shit on our backs already, lets not fight each other, we are doing their work for them, killing our sport with internal fights… don’t play the boarder’s industry game…

Don’t compare like its basketball or olympics or some shit, its rollerblading, it can’t be measured by a pointing system, there is no best in the world, and that’s the beauty of it. STOP attacking each other like its a spartan war… lets all cellebrate the fact that we are rollerbladers, and despite the fact that we are poor(low on bucks) we are at the same time, the richest in spirit. think about it.

1 – how do you progress when you can do every trick, both ways, spin in and out, and land them within a few tries, and have been able to for years? what do you want him to do, start backflipping onto flat rails??

2 – i personally think he IS still progressing, but even if he isn’t progressing, at least he isn’t digressing, like some other pros.

3 – some “PROs” cough…*****…cough… only grind with the same dominate foot and spin the same one way and don’t lace hammers, yet they are still in the spotlight and getting pro model products.
