Hunter Grimm (16, Texas): 2012 Edit by Gino Gotelli

Hunter Grimm

Hunter Grimm. Age 16 Lives in the DFW Metroplex. Where to start with this kid? Anytime Hunter skates, he is always skating hard. He is always pushing himself to the limit.

Be looking out for this Kid, He is the next up and coming Rollerblader that you will want to see more and more of.

These clips were captured over the past 6 months(Jan – July 2012) We went out and got footage as much as we could.

Thanks to Kristian Payne for assisting with the 2nd angles. Thanks to Tim Brown for assisting with the shots of D-Town. Using your lenses were a lot better than mine. Filmed with Canon T3i and T2i, Bower 8mm ultra wide angle, canon lenses 18-300mm.

Song: Kito feat. Reija Lee – Sweet Talk. Thanks Matt Mickey.

next up and comer might be a bit of an overstatement.

  17. ????? Says:

Well edited? Rather way over done edited…using all effects they could find, less would have been better, takes away so much attention from the skater….”best edit I’ve ever seen” …haha…awesome those kinda comments

    Skating was good tho

  18. jq Says:

Sick edit, Gino. Don’t listen to all the naysayers. They’re used to all the old mainstream stuff and can’t handle the future. They’ll be left behind with it, keep doin you. Props to Hunter.

  19. josh navarifar Says:

people shouldn’t post negative opinions anonymously. if you have something to say u should own it. or keep to ur self

  20. Blader Truth Says:

Only fucking faggots post comments and not videos.

  21. serge Says:

Nice skating! sweet style and tricks

Edit wast that great. Montage was fine (rithm-wise), but the grading was pretty bad (inconsistent, over exposed and hard to look at). The lens blur effects didn’t contribute to the edit (only made it ugly) and the effects were poorly made. Post/vfx/motion graphics are fine, but if you don’t do it properly people are gonna hate on it (and they have the right to do so, it simply doesnt makes it better).

More is less, a kid skating like this doesnt needs fancy effects (unless you can do it properly).

  22. Anonymous Says:

Yeah skating was ace.. Look for simplicity in editing filter editor guy. No effects. Just music and good editing please

  23. Murda Says:

I can’t figure out why so many people are being negative. This edit was awesome and I think it even amplified the skating. More than anything, I was completely entertained and wanted to see more. Most edits are a dime a dozen nowadays and I cant even remember the last one I watched that stood out. It’s sad that more people arent putting edits out like this imho. Props to whoever edited this. Kid needs to lose the helmet hes not at a skatepark.
