How Not to Attract Girls : Rollerblade
Asacore (New Jersey, USA) wrote a serie of ‘How Not to Attract Girls‘ posts on his blog called my Blog is Crap. Well his posts are based on facts, but are mostly second degree. Here is his entry about Rollerblading :
Rollerblading does not attract girls. Rollerblading was cool back in the 90’s. It was the new cool alternative sport. I had a fun time with rollerblading. I tried the whole grinding and going off jumps thing. I remember I jumped over 3 garbage cans once. That was cool. I had the narliest scars from rollerblading too. I was going downhill and a rock got caught in my wheels and I went tumbling. I was bleeding all over. My head was about 3 inches from the curb…it was awesome. Rollerblading yeah!
Now rollerblading looks fucking stupid. It’s not cool anymore. That’s really the one reason people started it anyways. I drove by some basketball courts today and saw some black dude rollerblading by himself. He had the earphones on and jean shorts, or “JORTS” like faggotdick likes to call them. I didn’t see any chicks around him. Or anyone at all as a matter of fact. I thought a scene of a California beach with chicks wearing spandex that gave them camel toes should’ve been behind him.
Rollerblading has almost gone in reverse as much as it has gone forward. It has declined all the way down to “what are those people doing? I’ve never seen anyone on wheel-boots like that before!”. If this was ‘94, and you had your calf length socks, wrap around Ray Bans, “jorts” and a tank top, you would’ve definitely had gotten chicks. Now, chicks will question what you are doing. sunday i went to a show where they had a park set up and a whole bunch of bladers had a comp
after the comp i was walkin around and some chick comes up to me and says my friend thinks ur hot
pointin to some hot chick who was sittin watchin the skaters !!
i’m gonna see her this weekend !!
and she skateboards !!

rollerblading does attract chicks, mabey not you if ur fat and obese rolling on quads down the street in ur short shorts. at my skatepark and at comps there are loads of chicks and i’ve gotten like 4 too start skating. and i’m goin out with one of them soon. so idk wat ur talkin bout buddy.

Hmmm, after reading the article, I am on his side. The type of skating he is talking about, well, no girls will flock to that. Our type of skating, every girl friend I have ever taken out skating with me and or with the other Salt Lake guys they have been nothing short of amazed. So, he is right about some of it. He also ignored the fact that it has changed, but I doubt he knows that…. Seeing as he has probably been trying to kickflip since he stopped skating…..
