how do they find shops that make these? how do they get the machines set up to do all the right processes? those pics were pretty interesting.

finally we get a glimpse as to how skates are made…i hope one day be-mag and other skate media will focus on exactlly what is going on in the industry

they are made in italy like roces, cause it’s roces ;-) and I think the workers are happy that valo is using the roces shell which is strong and well shaped, so they have some job to make their living. so what, it’s a good product and the skins make it look different. Thanks jon for recreating the roces boot!

its interesting how after 15 years (i dont know..) they are still using the same skate but with a soulplate, is there anything different? did they at least take the heel off and make it flat??
is the boot the best that it can be considering the knowledge gained by julio and others?

After watching any recent section from anyone riding valo I think it’s safe to say that anyone who thinks they’re shit skates are fools. They ride so well and look amazing.
And at the end of the day when you’re skating what is it that gives you the feeling of control and fluidity over your grinds? The boot, which, if it holds your foot in place, is doing a great job, or the soulplate?
Seriously guys.. how much more advanced do you want your boots? TRS tried developing a hardboot and just got a load of shit because it looked terrible.
