that will help get young kids into rollerblading. because lets admit it, they do look beta than the old malibus or wateva they are called haha, u no..like the ones erik perkett wears in generic tour.
nothing bad to come from this i would think.
May 20th, 2006 at 3:06 am
oh and also they will probly be sold at stores like K-mart not just special rollerblading shops…well lets hope so anyway.
May 20th, 2006 at 3:07 am
they dont look too bad but i think this will be a good start to an industry boost in exposure to the next generation
May 20th, 2006 at 3:29 am

May 20th, 2006 at 3:43 am
i don’t care what any of yall say, those will help out the industry soo much. hotwheels is crazy with there shit. comercials and that. and the skates don’t look half bad. so i’m anticipating these to see how they can help out.
May 20th, 2006 at 3:50 am
Rolling is going to become like skateboarding soon enough, but thats a good thing. Everyone dose it but only a few have good style, and nice tricks.
May 20th, 2006 at 4:25 am
look to the right of the hotwheels logo on the soul plate… is that a USD symbol? I can see a big S
May 20th, 2006 at 4:26 am

May 20th, 2006 at 8:19 am

May 20th, 2006 at 8:26 am
“People say it’s cool to be underground, I say FUCK THAT!”
Arlo. :-)
Could be nice for kids. Since Hotwheels got some nice marketing campaign, could be good for all.
May 20th, 2006 at 8:50 am
Obviously USD sold their mold to Hotwheels in the same way Salomon sold theirs to Anarchy. I think it’s fucking great. A new injection of young blood into the sport. Kids will buy these skates, then in 6 months when they have their foundations down, they’ll want a pair of professional blades.
May 20th, 2006 at 9:15 am
few months from now some nerdy kid will nag at mom to pick one of these up and 5 or so years after will have his name all over rollernews from being the hottest ama to hit the sponsorship market !

it says they’re getting distributed by Powerslide, who sell USD skates n the like. probably a joint move from USD and Hot wheels to make a cool new kids skate.
May 20th, 2006 at 12:16 pm

May 20th, 2006 at 1:02 pm

Is that a square rail?
May 20th, 2006 at 2:34 pm
yeah… it’d be cool to keep the industry alive and boost skater levels.
… but I’d hate to see it sell out and suddenly everyone’s a fucking genius about rollerblading…
May 20th, 2006 at 3:11 pm
Hard to tell, but it DOES look like a square rail O_o :-(

those are sick.
May 24th, 2006 at 2:57 am
can you say fucking ghetto. but i like the frame. lol
May 24th, 2006 at 2:57 am
and the cuffs lmfao
May 26th, 2006 at 1:14 pm
on the one hand, dropping skates like this and using brands that have no idea about rolling (hot wheels) to market that shit will bring the wee lads into the sport and maybe get some money into this otherwise penniless sport of rolling. but on the other hand, this goes against everything i like about rolling. it so fresh and clean of the bullshit. cause lets face it, if you didn’t love rolling, why do it? cash? pick up chicks? i think not.
May 27th, 2006 at 3:46 am
gayest aggressive skate ever besides RB Fury and K2’s
