wtf is with all the hate on this? ??
coming from a completely neutral unbias standpoint the edit was extremely good. not only was it really original it completely fit the theme of the HEAT company. the samples they picked of old video to incorporate into the skating was perfect, especially the part with the titles and the crowd. infact i wish that we were a rich enough industry capable of FULLY specifically re-producing those effects to suit us without having to sample them all. look at those shots though, look at the style, that hardcore 80s was so unique it’s certainly worth stylizing in retro. so what it didnt show you a TON of skating? it’s a trailer not a bootlegged version of the video on youtube. i mean come-on, the skating it did show was really ALL OUT, how could you hate on that. they obviously toured for the video, they obviously worked really hard at trying to produce quality footy and busted their ass off and got broke for it. look at how bad tory broke his wrist. and you kids are gonna sit behind your computer desk talking shit? how exactly? with what reason or backing?

i dont care what anyone else says about this video but its THE SHIT!!! i mean come on. when u have rambo, top gun, dirty dancing, and the karate kid in a skate video YOU CANT GO WRONG. like what iicents said its a damn trailor. a damn good one at that. there just keeping every thing secret to get you to buy it and i bet u wont be dissapointed. oh yea and having ARNOLD in the end makes the video a damn good preview. if he would of said ITS NOT A TUMOR(or tuma as arnold says) then i would have reserved it right then. and if you dont know what im talking about then watch old arnold!!

Man - i don’t think it was a ‘trailer’ as such - more of a teaser - but it was fucking awesome and hilarious anyways!!!
If they showed heaps of tricks - why would you buy the vid? you’ve already seen half the tricks - this is awesome, an original vid thats got a great sense of humour - you want to hate on it? then don’t fucking rollerblade, coz our sport doesn’t need prejudiced faggots like you.

HA real good editing, with a unique and original style, how you can judge the video from that simple trailer is beyond me, this DVD is gonna be a vid you will hate to love, but u’ll love it all the same, at the end of the day its skaters bustin there shit with there own styles and personalities, and its gonna be mint. Becasue the team is made up of skaters who each have a truly unique style, and its edited by carl sturgess and if you know anythin about skate DVD’s you’ll know he’s one of the best in the business, if not the best. I’ll be lookin forward to seeing more of this to see how it turns out.

Oh and for some strange reason i have a feeling that the teaser isnt intended to show of all the tricks, and what tricks to expect in the vid, its trying to show the sweat blood and tears that has gone into making the video aswell as the general style of the video, if Heat is all about 80’s rock style then so should there video and thats what there getting across.
