November 25th, 2009 at 1:11 pm
Awesome.
If remz can follow this kid up. And keep him inspired, he will be a really good investment.
November 25th, 2009 at 1:16 pm
i saw this kid at corby skatepark and he oooozzzz’s steez in real life, almost wildman esque !
November 25th, 2009 at 1:17 pm

Nice skating by the way..
November 25th, 2009 at 1:19 pm

November 25th, 2009 at 1:52 pm

November 25th, 2009 at 2:23 pm

Good stuff though guylad, keep it up! x
November 25th, 2009 at 2:26 pm
amazing, love his style. keep it up!
November 25th, 2009 at 3:14 pm
man, so much respect for this kid!!! how old was he when we first start doing rails? shame on us ALL
November 25th, 2009 at 3:30 pm
Guy’s been skating just over a year. Natural.
November 25th, 2009 at 3:42 pm
Kid has definitely got some style, hope he keeps at it, but its very irresponsible to keep sponsoring kids so young. Its getting rediculous.
Where is our 25+ yr old pros? Wheres our 30-40+ yr old pros? Exactly.
I have a prediction – the kid thinks he’s going to live the “Roll4Life” lifestyle, quit school, then right around 22-24 years old he’ll have a few injuries that slow him down. He’ll quit at 25, get overwieght, and then talk about how things have changed.
Please prove me wrong.
November 25th, 2009 at 4:17 pm
hey man, i don’t agree so much… i don’t see why he will have to quit school, it also depends on his parents… this guy could be a robert guerrero, still skating and 25+ years old.
anyway, this guy smithers is real good! reminds me of armand marchand :)
November 25th, 2009 at 4:37 pm
Gangsta’ kid! Sick skating – fast and stylish! :)
November 25th, 2009 at 4:56 pm
25+???
uhh im pretty sure shimas 25 by now, haffeys 24-25, same with broskow and farmer, julio, brandon smith is like 26-27, pat lennen, sean cullen, there are so many good skaters (maybe not pros) who are older than 25
and im pretty sure theyll be skating for a while
i dont get what your trying to get at kid, you dont have a good point at all
im sure thats probly the best thing thats happend in his life so far
shit ill be rolling my whole life, as long as i can just roll around ill be happy with that
other than that, i dont really like how he threw his hands up like hes the shit after that rail, that was pretty dumb
November 25th, 2009 at 5:05 pm
hey im 25 and still skating ok im not as good as this kid but maybe i should try harder these days lol.
November 25th, 2009 at 5:21 pm
He threw his hands up? On the TTS? I think he was just keeping his balance dude.
November 25th, 2009 at 5:21 pm
The point is; someone above called him “an investment”, and thats the most selfish thing that our industry can do to these kids who are dreaming of pro products with thier names on them. These kids need guidance, not empty promises. “Flow” teams are bullshit wrapped in a fancy package.
Remember Matt Mantz? Pro at like 10, the kid was 16 years old on TV telling the camera he was going to retire because he was bored. He seemed bitter about it.
I do hope this kid stays healthy and in school, I do hope he still enjoys the sport 20 years from now. Everything and anything good, I sincerely wish for him.
November 25th, 2009 at 5:30 pm
thats sick. so hes getting free skates?
November 25th, 2009 at 5:34 pm
reminds me of the 14yo kids between 1999 and 2003 who all quit when the pros went emofag.
November 25th, 2009 at 6:51 pm
respect for him :) i believe he was at bay sixty six wast week and he really was good :)
some people skate to get as good as possible like him and winning comp’s and being sponsored. Outsider is right.. what happens with those people when they stop skating when they are 25 or 30 years old… suddenly they have no high education (maybe).. and their only option is to create a new shitty brand like Brian Shima did with NIMH or to open a shop or to work in MCdonals.. ( i know shima is still skating but he is older than most of the pros)
..but I prefer skating for fun which is more enjoyable and less painfull :) and also not skating too much because there must be some time left for university and work! :) that’s the way i chose
November 25th, 2009 at 6:52 pm
- sick tricks
- great style
- speed tricks
- sick sick sick ao top soul !!! (ao top, still the best trick in the trickbook!)
@ most guys here: stop crying about kids who get skates for free (aka flow sponcerships)… whats wrong about that… ??? jealous? I’ remember when i was that age getting new skates was a pretty big task for gathering the money… flow sponcership is a super concept for talented kids.
come with your local crew skating in the brand new ForwardFreestyle skatepark in Belguim once ! an indoor skatepark for rollerbladers by rollerbladers
November 25th, 2009 at 7:14 pm
Yeah Boy nice Tricks and Style
November 25th, 2009 at 7:34 pm
awesome! keep up guy!
November 25th, 2009 at 8:41 pm

November 25th, 2009 at 9:03 pm
Ive been skating before Guy Smithers was even born and he might be better than me! Damn I need to step my game up!! Guy you are an inspiration to a lot of rollers, keep it up!
November 25th, 2009 at 9:14 pm
Just a correction to the age about haffey, farmer etc. Haffey is only 23, not 25. And i believe farmer is the same age as haffey,.. hehe ;)
November 25th, 2009 at 9:44 pm
Annoying shit faced little cunt
November 25th, 2009 at 10:50 pm
Hey Guy! Great edit! I loved your style in this one! Keep blading hard! It definitely gets kids motivated to stick with skating when they know they have a chance to get sponsored. There’s nothing wrong with flowing products to kids who will obviously encourage other kids to skate. Kids are the future and in case people haven’t noticed…they are few and far between! We need more young kids to start skating and need more young people that can make blading look “cool”.
November 25th, 2009 at 10:57 pm
looks cool, he reminds me of littel aaron feinberg back in the 90s and that’s a good thing of course! keep it up!
November 25th, 2009 at 11:35 pm
btw I’m 32 and still love to roll, I think todays pros will skate until they don’t feel it anymore, they may do it more for the fun and not for winning contests when they get older! And hey John Julio is over 30 and still doing some serious stuff!
November 26th, 2009 at 12:41 am
reminds me of a young paul mitchell
November 26th, 2009 at 3:42 am
really really good! Remz 0901 rlz!!!
hey steven the best trick in the trickbook in my opinion is back savanna! Sooooo stylish!!! =]
November 26th, 2009 at 7:32 am

they are the reason why so many kids lace some of that crazy shit now daysss
but this little kid got some steezzzzz
congratss kiiidoooo
November 26th, 2009 at 2:42 pm
“reminds me of a young paul mitchell”
The hair dresser? :P
November 26th, 2009 at 3:28 pm
Adrienne anne: “Damn he looks way better on carbons than on remz, remz looks so big on him :(
Nice skating by the way..”
i couldnt disagree with you anymore on the skates – carbons look the fucking worst, he looks sick in remz…. and they don’t look big at all!
November 26th, 2009 at 4:43 pm
props to this dood
November 26th, 2009 at 6:06 pm
i think kids should have the opportunity to be sponsored young. i want to see the best skaters out there, at any age, and rollerblading seems to be most suited for teenagers and guys in their early 20s anyway. by waiting until people are older, you miss some of the best skating years of their lives. also, if they get a chance to shine while they’re young, they can always move on to other things later if they want to (school, work, relationships, etc..). But also remember that a truly well-rounded individual will find time for everything they want to do, and can balance school or work with a pro career, among other things.
but nice skating, especially if you’ve only been skating a year, if that’s true then i can’t wait to see you in another year!!
November 26th, 2009 at 6:10 pm
Adrien Anne, Carbons look like fairy slippers.
YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS?!
November 26th, 2009 at 6:11 pm
Carbons are gay as shit. So tiny, they look like soccer shoes.
November 26th, 2009 at 8:03 pm
He has been skating about 3 years not 1
He is a cunt in real life, treats people like shit unless there are giving him something
He never pays for petrol money
and 80% of the free stuff he gets from sponcers he just sells on at the rrp.
and although the people that got him to this standard today dont mind as much i think its bullshit for him to post things on facebook like
‘im tired of waiting on people’
when they are giving him free lifts, teaching him and producing his edits which got him sponcered in the first place.
Guy you are a prick, the skates are half the size of your legs and stop being such a twat to your friends because they are just goin to give up on you
November 26th, 2009 at 8:04 pm
his skates looked way to big in all the clips. Kid kills it though, he deserves the rep hes gettin for sure!
November 26th, 2009 at 8:52 pm
Hope what “Fag” says isn’t the case.
All very well if someone’s talented, but someone who’s a dick, particularly to other kids by saying “you’re shit” or anything like that (seen too many rollers like that) is going to make LESS people roll, not more.
The kid’s sick, though, as with so many rollers (particularly up-and-comers) I’d like to see more than just grinds, as rolling generally is somewhat stagnant of late.
To his mates:keep him on the straight and narrow.
November 26th, 2009 at 9:08 pm
Hey everyone this is guy,
I’m very hurt at the comment ‘fag’ left, mainly because the majority of it is completely un-true, also the fact that someone who obviously knows me would go into such detail about what they think. That being said I’m definately not a cunt and I roll because I love it and want to get more people involved with the sport also i think most people that have met me will agree that i’m not nasty to them and am as nice as i can be around them.
Thanks
Guy smithers
November 26th, 2009 at 9:22 pm
dont get your pussy in a wad now guy.
haha i can totally see what fag said to be true, that fits perfectly
i dont see how kids can get sponsered when they dont skate gaps, thats pretty wack
November 26th, 2009 at 9:34 pm
ahh fuck you, think what you want i don’t care, get a life and stop posting hate comments on videos!
November 26th, 2009 at 10:21 pm
guy that was fucking sick
November 26th, 2009 at 10:26 pm
It doesnt matter about gaps and air if your tech in an area and just good in others, besides i’ve seen pictures of guy do a big set in reading before, so he is capiable.
But what fag says is right guy, you treat people like shit, stop taking skating so serious and smile once in a while, i’m not saying to lose your competitive edge completly, just turn it down a notch before people start getting sick of your bitching
November 26th, 2009 at 11:40 pm
Shiiiit man, that was a serious dig at guy! He’s just young and wants to skate all the time. Yea we might get pissed off with him at times but not on that level! Who posted that ‘fag’ comment? This is gonna turn into some Jeremy Kyle shit…hahahaha
November 26th, 2009 at 11:54 pm
hey fuck you chris, you bitch
November 27th, 2009 at 12:09 am
Sorry Jezza, just tryna promote the show u beatle browed beauty
November 27th, 2009 at 12:32 am
People need to stop talking shit on the internet and do something more productive. Guy’s only young and is probably quite hurt by these comments, maybe if you had a problem with him you should say it to his face. You’re not going to sort anything out by posting anonymous posts on websites. Leave guy alone, get a life of your own, don’t skate with guy if he annoys you that much, go back to school and learn how to spell sponsors and sponsored. Something you’ll never be. Idiot.
November 27th, 2009 at 3:38 am
hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate.
Fact – Guy sometimes forgets to give petrol money
Fact – Guy can sometimes take his skating too seriously
Fact – Guy is better than you at mini
Fact – Guy can tru topsoul everything
Fact – Guy does gaps
Fact – Guy is chill as fuck the majority of the time
Fact – Guy should come and visit more often
Fact – Dettol removes 99.9% of bacteria
Edit was sick Guy, although I’m now very confused about who you are skating for? you need to persuade your parents to let you out for the annual Christmas skate!
Peace
November 27th, 2009 at 7:08 am
hahahaha, petrol money??? the kid is 14 years old, give him a break. if we had a local 14 year old kid here with half as much potential as guy, i would do everything in my power to make sure he skates as much as possible. i doubt sweatshops pay that much anyway.
kudos man…keep making rollerblading look awesome, and get all of your little homies in on it too!
November 27th, 2009 at 9:44 am
lol
I’m with Tony
keep it up Lil man
November 27th, 2009 at 1:18 pm
First i thought it was Guy Crawford and i was like yay then i saw it wasn’t :( but still nice.
November 27th, 2009 at 7:27 pm
haha that kid is the steeziest. i hope he stays with it
December 6th, 2009 at 2:48 pm
the reason why people are hating is because of the fact that hes good at skating. maybe if everyone actually bothered in skating instead of wasting their time cussing on guy.
P.S im better than u guy lol….
keep it up^_^
