Ground Control : Formula1 FREESTYLE Frames (Press Release)
5 years after GC’s Murda freestyle frame revolutionized the industry Ground Control took the concept to a whole new level: The Formula 1 Freestyle frame comes with a new oversized H-Block which covers over 80 % of the frame and offers the first true wheel-to-wheel freestyle H-Block.
This concept was made possible by a patented 3-point attachment system which secures the h-block all the way through the base of the frame and the sole of the boot giving it enormous strength and rigidity. Special sickle shaped axle bolt heads increase the crucial material thickness below the axle holes and allow convenient one hand operation.
This creates a frame which is unmatched in stiffness and durability.

holy crap shut up about xsjado. all true freestyle frames are going to look like each other because they all have the same basic geometry. it also seems like you guys forgot that ground control did this before xsjado… no one ever criticized xsjado for making a freestyle frame after ground control.

GC says they made the first “freestyle” frame. They did in a way but it wasn’t a real legit freestyle frame. I think the first one was by Kizer with the Omar Wysong frame. Taking the middle wheels out of an anti-rocker frame isn’t considered really freestyle in the real sense. Look at the M-type frame or Xsjado for a real freestyle frame concept.
But anyways, these new GC freestyle frames are very nice! Congrats!

Andy straight up called Omar and told him they were gona use his ideas under someone elses name 5 years ago too. Kizer now releases his design under other riders names as well. Its sad and bad joke.

and i’d say that its only a slight difference from the mooks BUT different nonetheless. geometry wise, id say gc had done an awesome job in goin back to the old fasion BIG ass groove however, i’d like to see more along the line of the murda bullets as those were amazing. then again the freestyle formula ones have been skated by alot of pros like stockwell and farmer who love freestyle to the core and i’d side with gc on this one. excellent concept.
