Ground Control : Formula 1 Frames, Press Release

As the inventor of the deep H-block and pioneer of the freestyle frame concept, Ground Control decided to take the concept to a whole new level: Center piece of the Formula 1 frame is an oversized H-Block which extends over 80 % of the frame and provides a true cost efficient solution to replace it when worn down.
This concept was made possible by a patented 3-point attachment system which secures the h-block all the way through the base of the frame and the sole of the boot. This creates a frame which is unmatched in stiffness, strength and durability. Special sickle shaped axle bolt heads increase the crucial material thickness below the axle holes and allow convenient one hand operation.
Both versions got raving test reviews by Brian Shima, Jeff Stockwell and Chris Haffey.
The Formula 1 frame comes in 2 versions, Flat or Freestyle and replacement H-blocks come in a variety of colors.

I think the axel idea is fucking old… my first k2 fatty alredy had this idea hehe, trs too.
All frames should have no screw heads at all in the outside part of the frame - like element frame. That´s a real improovement, the grinds feel always like we´re using brand new frames (no screws touching ever!)
One thing I liked is the 3 point attachment system, hope it don´t break like almost every new freestyle frame - remember able, kizer suspensions, mook… ?
Because…sure they putted this third point because the frame was breaking in the tests.
And… about having a 80% h-block “true cost efficient solution to replace it when worn down” …. i really think 80% of the frame will cost 80% of the cost hehehehehe, than, it´s better to buy a brand new one adding just a little (20%! hehehe).

hey jpjedi, stfu..haffey tested them..im sure they are fine..besides its not like your gonna be doing tricks big enough to do any damage to them anyway..faggot

and stop your crying..why cant rollerbladers just support all companies..and just ride the ones they like the best..instead of putting all the new products down

I hope they kpt the same smooth sliding material. I hate hard frames like mooks + kizers

When Chris Haffey first got the prototypes he never wanted to take them off. If Haffey, Shima, and Stockwell, love’em, then you know this is a solid frame. I’ve seen them and they look awesome. Those are gonna be the frames to buy for Christmas.

Hehe. Farmer will obviously switch to the freestyle formula 1 frames now.

Rat-Tail(Elliott and Shima) and GC(Sunshine) are two of the most support corporate forces in our industry. They are here to provide you the BEST products in the industry. Show some respect; if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all…
November 14th, 2007 at 5:44 am
Although I agree that Rat-Tail and G.C put out great quality products, I don’t think its fair to tell kids “if you don’t have anything nice to say…” thats complete bullshit and lack of freedom of speech, people can say what ever they want, it is what you choose to accept that should count.
