Grant Hazelton Blades in AZ (2011): Moustache Squad, Edit by Mike Torres

Quoting Mike Torres:
He’s not my brother. He is also not my twin. He is the better looking, more responsible, more technical, more stylish, version of myself. He is my upgrade.
Perhaps he was sent here from the future to kill the young John Connor, and it is my job to save him regardless of the fact that I am a technically inferior model… I digress.
Grant is one of my best friends, and probably my favorite person to skate with. And boy can he pull off a mustache.
Filmed by Mike Torres & Gabe Holm.
Song: James Murphy – Gente.
Previously: Gary Murphy, Blading in AZ (Edit by Mike Torres).

Haven’t been as impressed by the filming in an edit since vinny minton’s edit (you know the one i’m talking about), so clean and fluid, as close from the skater as it can gets, I felt like I was rilling on his side !
Sick skating too

grant is so smooth and consistent on the blades, pleasure to watch.
torres is one of the best in the slr game, and he only gets nicer with it

good video….
had no idea those rails at the last spot were square. that makes aragons ego section even more insane than i previously thought.

This is so damn good. Someone ought to be giving Grant free blades. Mindblowing to watch in person.

whats up with all these metrosexual bladers?
October 6th, 2012 at 11:33 am
the skating was nice… not spectacular (just being honest).
It was smooth and the edit was smooth.
A bit more versatility would help to take his skating to the next level (I am sorry if he is more versatile in real life and it wasn’t shown in the edit, I can only go off what I have seen)
Lastly, it is amusing how much young people get excited about growing facial hair… so excited that they are willing to make themselves look like gay cowboys or stripper cops..
But the novelty does wear off… for most.
Keep skating, keep it smooth… but maybe downplay the mustache thing a bit.
Or don’t…

couldnt watch it, switched it off after a couple of tricks in as i knew it would be an edit full of little ledges and boring uninspired tricks.. oh and also NO NEED TO USE RETOUCHING ON A DUDES FACE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE EDIT. SO HOMOSEXUAL ITS UNREAL
October 6th, 2012 at 3:50 pm
Nah dude, he’s just a super hot gay cowboy

i liked it. clean and stylish.
looks like he has a lot of fun skating too which is really what its all about.

The mustache was a requirement of everyone in attendance on that trip. The year before, which has its own edit on Mike Torres’ vimeo page, was called Slash & Dash. This trip was then called Stache & Tache.

Everything about this edit was right.
