wtf? definitely not epic enough to have all slow mo. what even happened on that one trick with the transfer between the weird curvy things? it didnt show him landing it. i cant believe this guy is sponsored, there are so many kids who are better. if it wasnt for that epic be-mag wallpaper where he does that beastly ledge, i would not have any respect for this guy

theres a difference between shit talking and criticizing. if there werent people to criticize mediocre things, no one would try harder. if someone doesnt put very much effort into their skating, editing, filming, or whatever they are doing to represent the sport, then its not helping the sport progress at all. what if everyone just barely put much effort into their shit, and everyone on here just complimented them? criticism (or hate, whatever you want to call it) motivates people to do better. and right now, when we barely get any notice from the outside world and are constantly being disrespected, we need the sport to be portrayed as best as possible. that means everyone putting out their best shit. whether this guy has been around for a long time or not, the fact is that if i wanted to see a better edit there would be many ones i would watch before this. its competition and criticism, if you cant deal with it and improve, then this isnt the sport for you.

Fridolin is a big part of the development of european skating; and skating in general.
Just cuz he’s publishing an edit that doesn’t show hammers doesn’t mean he can’t hammer; if he wants to.
He prooved a billion times that he can do EVERYTHING…nobody pays him; or paid him for risking his life for our entertainment and for the sake of pushing skating’s limits (again, again and again)…
He’s all that, and even more…if we’d have (more) skaters like him in the current pro teams, skating would be so much more than it is right now.
Let him have fun skating and have fun watching him doing that.

i think this place should be called “roller-videographynews”. most of the time i see comments about the “edit”, music, camera, etc.
i personally dont give a shit if this video has reggeaton (i hate reggeaton), but i like watching him skate, thats the main point.

i find it harder to not appreciate the edits i see for all the veteran skaters, its an ability for us to see what the skaters(who obviously are already established) have been up to. its nothin but love and sincere commitment for whatever this artist decides to do. its just like a band you got to know and enjoy in there beginning and have been able to see the journey their music has taken as well as themselves as people. how in that sense could you not just take it all in and respect it no matter what. its LIFE don’t hate!
