the reason why there is true and alley oop is because true is away from the rail and much harder in some cases…….. so it should be named to give credit for doing a trick harder than normal…….

i know how u feel… i dont know why alot of people dont get that ao or truespin only describe the direction you spin into a grind… for example theyll talk about an “truespin mizou to ao topsoul” where the topsoul is grinded backwards when what they mean is an “truespin mizou to topsoul” cause theres no second spin involved in that trick… but on the other side theres more important shit to worrie about…

haha im sorry for bring up old post arguments, but if you look at the caption of the second picture it says “Truespin Ao Fish.” perfect example of why there needs to be a term specifically for backwards grinds. You cant spin two directions at the same time, but so many people think alley oop just means backwards that people still say weird shit like that even though it has been nearly ten years since db first pointed out this problem.
