Franco Shade: Nobody Cares Video Contest
Joe Navran posted on the forums about the next Franco Shade video called “Nobody Cares“. Here is your chance to get sponsored by Franco Shade!
Things have been extremely hectic getting Franco to where it is now, with that said I have never lost touch nor have I lost the desire to have some sort of impact in the rolling community. I am now getting all gears in motion for this new video project im working on that you may or may not have heard of called “Nobody Cares.”
The video will star the likes of Rachard Johnson, Chris Haffey, Franky Morales, Murda, Carlos Pianowski, and special appearances from Josh Petty and Aaron Feinberg, along with lots of old and new faces from the Future Prospects crew.
Here is the interesting part. As of right now the only person Franco Shade sponsors is Rachard Johnson, well that is going to change. We are taking video submissions to be no longer than 90 seconds showcasing your skating and individual style/personality. You will post these clips on youtube under “Nobody Cares / ‘your name’ “. After you have posted it, send an email to franco@francoshade.com to let us know that it is up and we will look for it. If you do not receive a response from us please try again until you do, as that is the only way you can be sure we have seen your submission.
You have until May 1st to do this. A committee of people involved with this project, myself included, will weed through these all and select a winner. That person will become our next sponsored pro which gives them basically all the same privileges that Rachard has had over the past few years. Along with that you will get your own feature section to go along with the pros that I earlier named in the video itself.
I’m sure there are people out there who could care less about being sponsored by Franco Shade or being in this video. For those of you just move on to the next post and enjoy your day. For the rest of you please take your submissions seriously as you will not have any chance later to add or change your edit. There will be a couple runner ups whose prizes are to be determined at a later date.

People This is sick shit. If Franco Shades is so popular then perhaps it’s a guerilla tactic that they’re looking to do to get us in the lime light again. I mean shit, Bam Margera sports Franco Shade gear Thats big shit. If the world only sees them as a clothing company and we all know that it’s ran by bladers why shouldn’t we support them. It’s suppose to be support blader ran companies isn’t it. So what not everyone wears their shit. Rachard does. Haffey sports them every now and then. I say we should give them our love and send out our clips and enjoy. You guys act like if you had a chance to get sponsored by Nike, you wouldn’t take it. What have FS ever done that goes against us? nothing so we should support them.

Just so you know guys Alchemy is a skateboard company first and foremost. They just started to make blading accessories and also they pretty much fucking did what the skateboarding industry does best to our industry. They steal. They pretty much stole the design for xsjado frames. Now they want to come out with a fucking aggressive skate so that the skateboarders can get a piece of our market and most likely use that profit to help bury us even further than they have.

Yeah fuck that shit. I’ll rep some FS anytime. Fuckin Skatepile still sells Alchemy frames. That’s a fuckin skateboarding company trying to act like they’re all about us. We all know most skateboarders can’t stand our guts. So Boycott Alchemy skates and boycott Skatepile for that shit. Know who’s shit you sellin.
They may not now. But they did for a long ass time and dis is right after that story about the Moon frames came out of China. They’ve been rockin Alchemy for a long time now which means that they helped them get some money from our industry.
