Kloob(KB): well brian..thanks for taking this interview with rollernews
KB: first off, how're you?
Brian Aragon(BA) :I'm doing alright, there was a blizzard the last few days in Denver so I haven't been able to do much.
KB: Ok, what’s your full name, sponsors, where do you live and for how long have you been skating?
BA: Brian Aragon - Razors, Mindgame, Jug, BUnique, Erolling
I've been skating for 12 years
KB: Why did you start rollerblading?
BA: I always liked trying every sport when I was younger and rollerblading was one of the ones that drew my attention the most.
KB: Who has inspired you from the begining?
BA: I would say my friends here in Colorado inspire me to skate the most. Most of them have always skated for the love and the fun of it and when I'm with them I remember why I started skating in the first place.
KB: What's a day in the life of Brian Like?
BA: You can check it out in the new Hyphy 3 video, I have a day in the life section!
KB: Who do you mainly skate with?
BA: Mostly all my boys from Denver.....Zach Nelms, Courtney Cain, Derik Mastay, Jeremy Spira, Danny McCabe.....

KB: What is the best, and the worst experience you've had skating?
BA: The best experience is all the traveling I've got to do at such a young age. The worst experience was breaking my ankle and having surgery.
KB: whats your favourite trick ever?
BA: My favorite trick changes quite a bit but I've always liked the feeling of true topacids and hurricane topsouls
KB: Where's your favourite place in the world to skate?
BA: The Denver Skate park 2 blocks from my house or Bercy in Paris.
KB: whats more important: style or big tricks?
BA: Style... Anyone can grow balls from time to time but if you can't make it look good it doesn't matter.
KB: is there any trick you're still scared to do?
BA: There is tricks that I don't do all the time but its not a scared thing its more like not hurting yourself when its not needed.
KB: Did you see Haffey's 'Beat That' edit? and if so, when are you going back to 'beat it'?
BA: haha yea I saw that... Well from what I heard the Skate Factory closed but if it was still open I would do that trick and have to think about somthing new to do.
KB: and...the question everyones been wanting to know the answer to. What's going on with your pro skate now? and when will it be released?
can you give us any details on it? (Photos of the skates)
BA:We've had some problems with the manufacturer and the skate still had some problems and thats why it couldn't be released for christmas. We are waiting on that skate for a couple months while everything is perfected. In the meantime my first pro skate will be the razors mold that everyone is familiar with and have my pro jug liner, a new GC frame, and a good color scheme.
KB: ok cool...now we have some questions from rollernews users:
razors_2005: when will the next razors video be coming out?
BA: I'm not sure of the exact date but filming is underway!
razors_2005: When will you next be touring the UK?
BA: That is a question I'm not sure about but my best guess would possibly be in the summer when the UK isn't frozen.
DaN lAmBeRt: How does it feel to be one of the best and most influencial skaters out there at the moment?
BA: Honestly it's somthing that I never think about. I know what my vision of good skating is like and everytime I skate I try to improve. It is definatly a huge compliement!
daniel: Do you think you could beat haffey at a game of S.K.A.T.E?
BA:haha I don't know how many times I've been asked that question. I guess it would depend what its on he would be very hard to beat.
Laflip: From what skaters do you gain inspiration from now?
BA:All my friends in Colorado! Also Murda, Dre, Kelso's, Sagona, Haffy, Lievanos, Bah.....to many to name them all.
blueSk8r: Who is your biggest competition?
BA: I think everyone's biggest competition is themself and I'm not different.
lil-sam: How do you get to sleep before comps and control your nerves?
BA:Sleep is always easy for me but before every contest I still get butterflies and nervous. Its happened for so long now I think I would be more nervous if it didn't happen.
va im a rollerbooter: What can we expect to see from groundcontrol in the next few months?
BA: The new frame on my skate should be pretty interesting but I can't spoil all the news yet.
and lastly from the owner of RN himself:
Koubis: I'm doing an article on rollerbladers and tatoos, do you have any tatoos? and if so would you like to send us some pics?
BA: I have 1 tatoo on my left arm. Its a cross that I got after I broke my ankle while I was recovering. I am getting work done after christmas and I will send you some pics.
KB: Ok, thanks. You want to thank anyone for helping you make it this far and supprting you in your rolling?
BA: God, my parents, all my boys from CO, Razors, everyone who supports me, everyone who rollerblades!
KB: Ok, thanks a lot brian, be sure to check out RN in the next few fays and this’ll be posted. Thanks for the interview.
BA: thanks alot,
BA: peace.
