I had a pair of the first freestyle cores and snapped them just skating in my local park! wasnt impressed at all especially as they’re made of metal and they’re the only frames I’ve ever snapped!
the freestyle cores are super sick and well worth the money. if you think the groove is to deep then skate some boots that actually require you to bend or learn how to ride your boot more.
if you cant lock groove tricks right in these frames then its your fault.

what? its way about the depth of the groove that will or wont allow u to bone over your groove tricks! there’s not too many skates out there today that have such a small soul area, so the bone over factor is dictated by groove depth..
get these frames on a pair of remz and there’s barely any difference between a frontside and a royale.. and nice long backslides are nearly impossible. maybe im just old school and like to get that sick low angle on my groove grinds, but i think its way too deep

I had a pair of the first ones that came out and the groove is WAY too deep. It’s awkward locking into any groove tricks compared to Ground Control’s.

on the first cores the holes on the top of the metal part was to big so they were snapping, but fifty 50 redesigned like a few months later
