Katie and Chihiro have been invited to asian x….it was a mistake in the editing since this was made by a non rollerblading student….it was referring to making mens finals at bittercold. Easy error to be a made by a non rollerblader.
And thanx for the support many of you. I’ve worked hard to overcome addiction. There is a huge difference between drug use and drug abuse and addiction. I am not an anti drug spokesperson, nor do I condone its use. This is merely a story of how drugs almost killed me and how blading was all I had left at an all time low. And how blading continues to help me when times are tough. Its my passion. It is my outlet. I love it and I know many people can relate to the healthy things it has added to our lives.

Good one Simon….and I’m sad you’re proud of your drug abuse. Doing hard drugs is definitely not something anyone should ever promote, nor try to degrade someone for not doing like a heavy-weight champ as yourself. I’ve never moaned about it niether. Its a story, and many people are suffering. Hopefully they can come through as well with a familial support or a passion that keeps them looking forward to everything life has to offer, like blading has done for me.

Thank you all so much for your support and respect….and john dillingham, you are right. There is no pity asked of me ever. If anything, I am proud of overcoming such a difficult time a few year back and so incredibly grateful for having a passion to help me through. Not everyone has that. Last thing I need is pity. I’m very very thankful for being fortunate enough to be alive and doing my passion, when at one point, I didn’t think I was going to be able to do anything again, much less blade with beautiful people all over the world.
This video wasn’t made for rollernews or for the industry at all. It was made by a san francisco state student as a project who wanted to share an inspiriting story for athletes and students. I felt comfortable enough with sharing it with the industry, knowing people who are ashamed of themselves would criticize it as a defense mechanism, but also feeling that it could inspire some as well or that many can relate. I know that I am a very much misunderstood athlete in the industry to those who have not met me nor know my depth…but I’m just human…who loves and lives for rollerblading like many of us.
Rollerblading is an empowering thing that makes many of us feel alive regardless of highs or lows or any tough life circumstances. We are so very fortunete to have found it.

This story was cool to hear, and the person that did it did an admirable job conveying Fallon’s life at the time and how skating helped her stay grounded.
When I got into partying coke was the last thing I wanted to do, and I was afraid of weed, but now I smoke, and that is it.
I don’t even drink anymore, I don’t advocate weed, but it’s the most chill if you still want to function, but some people should never do drugs.

I have a neutral opinion about marijuana and psychedelics…..some can use them and some can’t. But hard drugs will do nothing positive for anyone’s lives. It is my hope that no one I love and care about ever becomes involved with hard drugs. I not only hurt myself, but others during my addiction. It still breaks my heart knowing what I put myself and loved ones through during that time.
And thank you again for the kind words and encouragement guys! And I def don’t take the hate to heart from some of the comments. It takes a pretty cold and hurting person to hate on or insult a story of addiction recovery…I recognize that. I hope one day they are happy and fulfilled too.

there’s a lot of drug taking in rollerblading. it’s not spoke of in an obvious sense, and a fair portion of well known skaters are definately users in one way or another. but it’s just a fact of life. it’s shit that it’s involved but it’s just the way it goes.
respect due to being so open about it, and also not being afraid to admit that influence from people within skating was key to her addiction. sad state.

Rollerbladers need to put bios out because it is interesting and helps the sport. I am sure you can find bios on skateboarders who compete at her level. It makes the sport look more organized to have professional looking bios. Women have to work at least twice as hard to get at the level that Fallon is skating at. The people who say Jenna is better than Fallon are liars this is soo sad.
Fallon is 100% more solid when she skates than Jenna. And Jenna did not land the 900 watch the footage both of her hands were dragging on the ground at least nine feet after she landed.I think some of the males in this sport hate on women too much. I also believe that the reason is because some of the men are jealous that they cant skate as well as Fallon. It makes men look weak and pathetic when they hate on girls u would never do that in public.

If you people think hating on her is embarrassing for her, think again. You all LOVE to talk about her. Just like britny speers…you can hate on her, but all you are is making her more famous.
Fallon is so interesting and well spoken and all you people obviously think the same. And she has an incredible story that can impact many others. Hopefully she becomes a public speaker for youth one day. Someone did a documentary on her, she shared it, it was interesting and I’m sure inspiring for many. I for one have SOOOO much more respect for her. I just thought she was a party girl with no substance like the rest of our pro rollers, when in reality, she is very deep and passionate. She embraces and loves rollerblading more than any of us. That is clear.
Bottom line is Fallon is the best girl park rider to ever live by far and better than most dudes, she loves it and is more passionate than anyone could be, and she overcame a lot of adversity. I’ve met her before at woodward and she is not a “rich bitch” nor a “cheerleader”. She has always worked and supported herself and never gotten handouts from her parents as far as I understood. She is also level-headed. She likes to have fun and is quite funny even and really kind to the kid skaters. I hope to see more of her and meet her again someday. And this documentary was awesome. I’m glad I saw it.

What is with all of the European haters on this site? Europeans need to stop hating on American rollerbladers it is going too far. Literally there is no way that Jenna landed the 900 or did better than Fallon. She landed with both hands then scraped them on the ground for about 15 feet, that isn’t a landing its a crash. Jenna keeps winning just because she is European this is incredibly strange and pathetic, judging competitions unfairly makes the sport look unprofessional. Fuck you all, drug addiction is a disease that has weakened our planet for countless years, it is a serious affair. If you speak down of people not being able to “handle” their addiction or drug of choice, you are as ignorant as a true addict. Blind to the truth. If you have ever had a real addiction to alcohol, cocaine, heroin, oxy cotton, morphine, or any other controlling substance, you wouldn’t think like that! Drugs rape and rob you of everything pure in your mind, heart, and soul. Being an addict is like not being able to breath without being high, being numb is a constant and everlasting part of your addiction. The only way out is to die or get clean. Fallon should be praised for what shes done in this short film. She is only doing good by spreading her story, turning heads, and saving lives. A+

At least she’s got the testicular/ovarioligical(made up, I know) fortitude to talk about it, granted who who the fuck cares…but from being a young little skater girl to a cross country harrier, Fallon has gotten shine since she was young, skating (winning I believe) an old school (well old to you at least to all you little shits) female NYC all womens comp back in the day-so I doubt she gives much of a fuck about attention from everyone EXCEPT those she was trying to reach and or inform through her documentary.
