Ecs skatehardware

quoting Truespin202 :
Ok if you havent heard there is a new skate company coming the the rolling market called ecs skatehardware. i met up with the originator and creator Robert Dunn in Texas shortly after the hoedown. When i asked Robert what makes him different than any other company out there. He Replied:
“Well its not the fact what makes me different its what product that i am bringing that will improve on what has already been achieved. See i am not trying to, out do or replace other companies, i am trying to incoporate a new idea that will help improve companies.

next new idea in rollerblading can only be reactors fixed to frames.
everything has been done so far.
except reactors, which sounds nice.

I was chosen for the prototype testing of this product, and they suck bad, dont get them when they come out, if they ever do come out. They dont slide worth crap, even when waxed, and they also are just plaine ugly, so dont get them and dont support them. please =]
February 6th, 2007 at 5:00 pm

February 6th, 2007 at 7:05 pm
Yeah, im not kidding you all, this product is terrible! DO NOT BUY IT! Hopefully it only comes out in the UK, and Europe, but either way,DONT BUY IT!It doesnt slide, ugly as hell, they wear down really really fast, and they just stole the idea from NIGHT hardware wings….they suck guys…please dont support them!!=]
February 6th, 2007 at 7:08 pm
hahahaha…… wow.
February 6th, 2007 at 7:20 pm
hmmm…
they seem pretty good…
but
How will they improve other companies man?
they will only make other companies lose money, and have you thought of any other ideas such as……
1)making them wear down faster so more are bought….
2) The look
3)the cost
4)locking on easier
5)advertising
6)def a new logo
7)you should make a myspace…these days there is no better advertising technique…
8)im pretty sure, you shouldnt have HARDWARE in your name because….of NIGHT HARDWARE…
9)WTF does ECS stand for?
10) NEW NAME!!!!

chopped up chopping board
February 6th, 2007 at 11:26 pm
most cutting boards are UHMW.
there is NO plastic known to man that has better properties for skating than UHMWPE which is what doga uses for the night stuff.
The next big thing will be making parts out of UHMWPE on 5 axis CNC milling machienes, not making parts by hand out of crapy Keltron PEEK.
February 7th, 2007 at 12:19 am
Ill buy anything that makes these freakin salomons slide faster the widebodys are made of glue or something…
just a thought… why dont the skate builders put in better plastic to begin with so we dont have to add this on
February 7th, 2007 at 1:29 am
That is a very good question rocksanddirt, and the reason being, is so you will go buy more and more parts from this company..
it is all about making money and a profit, so a company will do anything in its power to succeed and make money.
even it that takes making the best product with the worst accesories to it.!
its shitty, but thats how it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

chadwick is 100% correct. look who owns our skate companies, they are all huge copropations.
Rollerblade is a division of Nortica inc.
xsado was owned by salomon and now is run by powerslide.
Powerslide makes USD, deshi, kizer, razors, sifka, Xsado, Matel Hot Wheels skateboard and scooters, Ice racing equpment, inline racing equpment, and many other products. http://www.powerslide.de/

um just for yalls info dont listen to any one of the people who have just said they tested some of the product the only people who has even had the chance to test some of the peices is the select team members.
and truespin202 is not me its a guy that i know. that i used to skate with in the past..
no one but 4 people have tested any of the plastic and plates. why you have to lie i do not know but just tell the truth. you dont have to lie about sheit.
so get a grip.
and name wise
what it matter if there is a hardware at the end of the name im not trying to steal ideas or steal a name in my thinking i never even thought about the end of the name i was talkin to some guys about what i was doing and the name ecs added with hardware came up so it stuck.
furrows hardware
lowes hardware
home depot hardware
they all have a last name of hardware
furrows hardware > lowes hardware
omg they have the same last name..
and for those who say have tested my product what product did you test and when did you get it. just curiouse.
February 7th, 2007 at 7:39 am
and there will be other colors to come
February 7th, 2007 at 8:39 am
this company will fail just like every other shitty rollerblading company. good riddance.
February 7th, 2007 at 9:55 am
lowes = Lowe’s Companies, Inc.
home depot = The Home Depot, Inc.
bolth are publicly traded companies listed on the NYSE, and bolth are in my portfolio.
NEITHER have the word “hardware” in their names, they have hardware departments.
February 7th, 2007 at 5:11 pm
truespin202 is Dunn
