Sure he and Shane Coburn layed the foundation to xsjado, but now he´s retired from being a pro so he can take care of his family….I gotta say it´s so cool to see that he´s still rollin…and I mean what could be better than just have a good life with your child n wife plus being able to do the thing you love most beside them?
Dustin has always been some sort of a role model to me and a lot of other kids cuz he always seemed to have an honest and true dedication to his passion and leaving out that tough guy thing that drives people to act like lil wanna be gangsters…even though he probably wouldn´t even see himself as this halo guy ;-)…
Oh yeah and the skate seems to be awesome…though I didn´t really get an idea of how it really works on street…

Shane Coburn has always been the mind behind Xsjado, from the concept to the development of the product…

in my book Dustin Latimer will always be the ONE I looked up to and admired for years. when he was at his peak, cuop de tat and BFG, he was like a machine. will never forget the first time I saw him do that bridge drop in to HUUUUGE 540 (and rolled away fakie…) in that massive storm drain. that very first time I saw it with a friend of mine, a skateboarder, and he was like ‘man, that shit was crazy…how did he do it man?!’ let that speak for itself.
Dustin brought style and creativity to rollerblading. in my oppinion hes one of the first who went from always going BIG to just mess around for the fun of it. just to make it look so darn good!
big ups for my hero, Dustin Latimer. hats off…
btw, great tutorial from Dustin n Revolution.

he must have made a pretty penny off of xsjado, nice house, endorsing an ugly skate, not so nice. jk

whoa whoa… DL isn’t ON Nimh, he’s just riding them. once the new xsjados come out i’m sure he’ll be back on those. and i believe he and his wife both have normal day jobs.

i use to hate the hell out of these skate i thought they l;ooked horrible and the make ur own groove thing was stupid. but this vid makes them look really nice. i wouldnt mind skating a pair myself.
but….
notice how when he was making the groove he had made a big groove in his f1’s too. probs the best thing to do it use a old pair of frames while doing this.

so.wack is tht a bad thing or a gd thing? lol
they look nice in the vid i got to admit. but they pic when they first came out didnt do much for them. but i guess neither did the xsjados when they first started. then i got a pair of stockwell :S dunno how tht worked out but i use to love em.
one thing i love about these days r skatings getting bigger, the ideas r more wild. like everyones different, skates r become more different i’ll admit some ideas dont go well but, none the less i think this boot is a step forward in skating.
being able to create what u love to do is something u dont get these days. with these soulplates u could probs buy another pair and set one up for ledges and use the other ones for rails and round rails.
i think skating these days is coming to the stage where ppl want customs to suit them not what to pros use. these skates let u do this. hopefully they’ll be a white pair out tht can be dyed
