i dont think that font should ever be used again…
dustin is one of the most influetial characters in rollerblading, this is a good idea, but i wish it was more than just simply old footage put together, why not have other riders interview about dustin? give it a more documentary feel rather than just unseen footage and compilation of his sections.

yeh gotta admit the titles were poor lol i hate movie maker so much (even if this wasn’t made with it). but regardless, definitely be good to see his whole history. i loved his coup de tat and brain fear gone sections, which were such inspiration, n i would like to see even more. i agree it should be more than just a compilation tho…

everyone needs to chill with the doubts to the editing.
DL edited on BFG, Words, and Quality. All great videos!
It seems to me like this new ‘DL’ video is almost like a family home movie of his life as a rollerblader.
Hence the apparantly “amateur” use of what folks have called windows movie maker, I wouldn’t know personally.
Whatever you guys think, i am going to trust that DL will come out with a video that he is proud of. So i’m really looking forward to it!

the font was shitty, and it’s not that it’s a lack of access to better fonts it’s laziness.
I’ve been skating 10 years and I’m 26. not a kid either.
half assed efforts are rampant in our sport. that’s why so many companies go down on such a regular basis.

The best skater in the world deserves a little better quality video. DL is a milestone in the sport. The skating will be amazing without a doubt. This is DL we are talking about. Its just time to see a bit of love and effort put into the production of the video to present him in the light he deserves.
AMAZING IDEA TO MAKE THIS FILM! To who ever is making it, PLEASE make it all it can be and push the part of rolling culture that is video.

@ Travis, I’m not claiming to be a god at editing, and I never said anything about myself being able to make a better edit, or anything along those lines. FYI, I have spent several hundreds of hours on Photoshop and Premiere, so I know what it’s like to make titles for an edit.
This has been produced by industry professionals, and I’m surprised they used tacky titles like that, it just made me laugh. A lot of the people I hang out with could’ve edited that far better by simply replacing those titles with some respectable ones.
I don’t understand how you can judge whether or not I’m acting like I kid by a few words on a website, just seems pretty retarded to me. My english is above average compared to the rest of the posts on this page (including yours!).
