I dunno why but all the people with new razors mould skate the same way, maybe because the foot is lower inside the skate but everybody has a fucking ugly style in those skates, including Dre who use to have on of the best styles. WEIRD!

…I gotta agree with Jake…how come Dre skated that way? Wasn´t he like 100 times better than that? I mean those tricks there I could´ve pulled and I´m not even close to pro status…

I dont know why people are hating on Dre Powell for this edit. Im sure he did not have quality control over which of his tricks got put in this edit so basically his image in terms of ability lies in the editors experience and taste. Also, for all we know he just stepped of an eight hours flight or was hung over.
Basically Dre is like Frankie in terms of how he treats grommits. Despite his ‘celeb’ attitude he is very humble and from my experiences with him he ALWAYS interacts with kids of all ages and skills. At the Chaz Sands comp while most pros were sitting in vans and sticking together Dre was freestyling away with locals and continued to do so at the after party. No ego, just loves skating and the lifestyle. In my opinion he may not be as ‘hammer’ driven as the likes of Haffey and Aragon but every team needs a balance and he brings a friendly down to earth vibe to the Razor team. As does the likes of Frankie and Chaz in the skate industry. Im a little bias towards Chaz cause hes my booooy from way back but never the less they’re good people.
However, this edit wasnt particularly good but get off Dres case. Let him enjoy the lifestyle we would all love to have.

What all of you guys are talking about?!
First of all you haters need to repeat some historycal movements and personalitys in rollerblading. HAve you ever met a guy like Dre ever in your life?! Have you ever had some personal expressions? The way of he skate is just enough to prove his talent.
By the way, it was raining all they and those spots weren’t as easy as you think.Non of you guys could passed those tricks better.
Do you know anything about skating?!
The only reason why our sport is “dieing” is hidden in your mentality.

hey jake….i just don’t know…..murda has a great style….and guess what….he is skating razors skates…..don and aragon have both great style….and…for example….the best rollerblader from romania…in 2007 won the 2nd place at winterclash….and he was and he is still skating razors skates…and he has a great style too…but now he lives in geneva….and yes…..this edit…it’s not that good….but it’s ok…..

People here need to chill, Dre killed shit in this edit and is still one of the nicest guys in the industry and EVER, he doesn’t think he’s good he is a modest guy and can drop hammers.

I have to agree with Zima and MikeA… don’t you see kids that rollerblading based on hating each other now? You can’t really see what’s going on in the industry field and how these guys - like Dre - keep their head up to save the valuable parts of this sport to the future. Dre was a pro skater when most of you (maybe not all but most of you) were only little children know nothing about skating or keep a helmet on your head and skating around without anyone can see you…
What do you think it’s fortune that Dre had been a pro skater? Start to think and show some respect! Maybe most of you don’t find him stylish or good enough - but… it doesn’t have to mean that you put hate on him (or anybody else!!!) Why rollerbladers hate on each other instead of show some respect and… it’s absolutely okay if you don’t like something - but don’t say like this…
Doing a tour isn’t as easy as you think! Waiting on airport to your connection and flying long hours makes you tired! Not so easy to put a smile on your face immediately when your plane landed and do your best tricks! Whatever… it’s pretty hard to do. Anybody who was on a real tour can state the same! I appreciate what he or anybody else do on tour…
One more thing chime in with MikeA… so hard to be a skater in one team with Brian Aragon! But please, guys… don’t start to compare these personailities…! It’s meaningless and absolutely useless. You won’t be a better skater when showing hate and starting to disparage anybody! Go out and “just do it”.
Only support that’s what the sport need.

Dre Powel has fucking amazing style, ive never seen someone float up to rails so effortlessly. And also he has a much better attitude than 95% of pros do, he talkts to everyone, is extremely humble and nice, and gives props to you regardless of how good you are. We need more professionals like Dre.
