The Bambrick Carbon 3 is just as light and maneuverable as the Carbon 2′s. You still have the option to heat mold to your skate giving you the perfect fit.
My skate has a higher liner in the ankle area giving more support and comfort. My skate is a dark blue with black accented leather with hints of gold and red.
I am very happy with how they came out and the added ankle support is a nice improvement. If you liked the Carbon 2′s you will surely love the Carbon 3′s.

I actually haven’t bought skates for 1,5… but finally there’s something I think I’m gonna go for. I always was suspicious of the low ankle support in the carbons, and it seems like Bambrick has modified the only detail that made me a little unsure about buying the carbons or not.
By the way – a great section. Why hasn’t Bambrick skated like this the last two years? It’s good to see that he’s killing it again. Seems like Bambrick, Kelso and so on were criticized for not skating with motivation but it now appears like they’ve accepted the criticism and tried – with sucess – to reinvent themselves. I think they did a god job. Glad to see them going strong.

iy was a cool section, bit of creative innovation, my only gripe would be that the tricks are really, really short… blink and you’ve missed it.
the skate looks sweet… but does the new usd iiv soulplate fit on it?

does it have the same soulplate as the current carbon 2s? It seems to be a bit more solid and flush with the boot but i cant really tell.

It doesnt look like they altered ankle area, because position of cuff screws (and cuff) is raised too, to better fit with higher boot.
