Daniel Prell takes a holiday in Xsjado land

Daniel Prell, USD pro found himself with the wrong parcel, and decided to try out what he found inside.
Heres what he had to say:
These days all of my friends are getting excited about the new Xsjado Chris Farmer and somehow I also got curious.
As its winter anyway and theres is no important filming going on at the moment so I decided to try and get myself a pair.
For the USD and Xsjado guys it was cool and so one lousy cold day in january the postman brought a present from Xsjado.
I decided to check it out in a park for one hour away and my good friend Basti Hofer (the photographer) had nothing better to do so he joined me. [...]
Check the full article + Photos on Conference.
Thanks Alec7.

I really want to try a pair of either these or the DW….
I’m going to this spring/summer.
I couldn’t stand the way any of the previous models looked!!!
I’M SOO GLAD THEY MADE A SKATE THAT ACTUALLY LOOKS GOOD!
The earth tones may have worked for Bauer and Salomon, but not Xsjado…

Prell what the fuck r u doing man, i hope its not a growing trend for you .. but i will admitt the color scheme makes the skate. Look at all the skate companys over the years they would keep the same boot mould but change the color and it would decifer weather you like it or not look at the billy o neils by USD AMAZING and look at the EVO 9’s THEY LOOK TERRIBLE but there the exact same boot .. good for xsjado

CONFERENCE = SHIT, They are killing the lifestyle, transforming rollerblading into an “Extreme SPORT” – FUCK THAT SHIT, its not a sport dick heads, its a way of life, of thinking, of dressing, of talking, of acting, its about being different than anybody else, not trying desperately to fit in or be recognized… you dumb fucks!
and that stupid world series?? now no one will be credited for skating stree anymore, the only skaters that will matter are the ones at the ranking…. thats the biggest bullshit that ever happened in rollerblading…
ever since the focus is in europe rollerblading started to look like shit, there are no icons or people to refer to like we used to have… the dustins, the aspuruas, the abdiels, the gillans, the elliots, the shimas…
now its a bunch of random muthafuckas that can skate but absolutely CANT represent the lifestyle, and before you start talking shit on americans, IM BRAZILLIAN, SO EAT A DICK!!

Dan brings up a good point. Eventhough I thought most of what he said was angry jiibberish, he was completely right about the Contest Series. When I first heard about this, I thought it was a great idea. It will help legitimize our sport. Any recognition is good recognition, right. WRONG! The one thing that differenciates us from the other “action sports” is that we are more focused on street skating. I respect park skating, but street is were we came from, and it is the heart of what we do.We are probly the last of the “action sports” in which it’s participants still buy, and look forward to videos, profiles, and edits. I think ranking skaters according to how they perform in a park will give an inaccurrate depiction of who and what they are. The general public will think that Chris Famer and Alex Broskow are low level skaters, just because they aren’t good contest performers. Eventhough I think Haffey is the best one to represent us to the masses, I don’t feel that he, and Aragon should be the only ones people know about. And that is exactly what will happen, because everybody knows that they are the best American contest skaters.

how is alex broskow NOT good at park contest???? He is the ONE skater of the year. If you can skate good, you can skate good. Believe me Chris fuckin Farmer can definetly skate very very well at a park contest. Is whether he feels like it or not that matters. True pros can skate ANYTHING and represent skating wll. It just depends on if they choose to do so. You have to give Farmer and Broskow more respect than that dude.

hgas, YOU DID NOT PAY ATTENETION TO WHAT I SAID! Nobody respects Broskow and Farmer more than me. What I’m saying is, that they are great because of the spots they skate, their creativity, and their courage to try crazy shit. Ofcourse they are great skaters. But in a park contest, you are judged based on how good you skate at one particular place, on one particular day. I love these guys, but it is well known that they usually don’t win park contests when competing against guys like Haffey, Aragon, or Franky Morales. Does that make Farmer and Broskow low level skaters? Hell no! We both know that those two are among the greatest at street. My whole point is that , we know how good these guys are, but the average American kid won’t know anything accept that Haffey and Aragon win all the contests. Open your mind to what people are saying, before you talk shit. PEACE>

And Hoodhood….. Yeah Broskow is great at park. But he usually loses to Haffey, Aragon, and Morales. I know that he has park skills, but that doesn’t mean that he wins the big contests. I love the guy, but he hasn’t won a contest against the best in a few years. You might think I’m stupid, but atleast I know my sport. Maybe you should pay attention.

toe-bee. winning one major contest in the last few doesn’t discredit what I’ve said. Get your lips of broskow’s zipper. I think he preffers girls. My point is still true that Haffey and Aragon are the top contest performers. Broskow is an all time great, but park contests are not his claim to fame. You losers are trying to act like I hate Broskow. Infact, I have probly watched more Broskow edits, and bought more dvd’s( because of a Broskow profile) than all of you put together. You f*ing retards are missing the point that I was trying to make, that Broskow is a better skater than his park contests would indicate. Do you really think that when they start ranking the pro’s, that Broskow will be #1. I don’t think so. But that just shows that those rankings don’t mean anything. WTF is wrong with your comprehension skills?
