This will def help to make skaters last longer…but no we would look like those “B-movie” athletes of the future! Which is more important: the look or te security???

yes but maybe with protection the pro could puch the sport harder because they hurt themself less. the problem with the actual protection is that they limit a lot you’re moves, so much that you’ve got less balanc/ skill so fall more it’s not really worht to wear them. But with some progress maybe it’s going to change something?

That protection gear looks pretty thin to me, almost like a second skin. I would rock the knee gear for real.

i think the idea is that you would wear that under your clothes. but i live in washington DC and there is no way im wearing that in the summer. i would most likely pass out from heat exhaustion.

Pffft how old are you Nick? 18 maybe 19 max?
Come back and say that shit when you’ve been skating more than half your lifetime.
Rollerblading destroys your body. Falling now a days fucking hurts about 15 times more so than it ever did before. I’ve probly fallen fucking hard on my hip and elbows well over a thousand times. There is only so much your body can handle, even at the invincible age of 17-23. It catchs up, and catches up with everyone eventually. Why do you think our sports average age is so much younger than other action sports? I’ll give you the two main reasons:
1. No one is getting paid enough to write their body’s off for the remainder of their lives.
2. Falling starts to take its tole after a while. And soon you realize you either have to step down your game, or face a permanent injury.
This technology will just allow skaters to push their limits higher and for longer, keepin OG’s going, and preventing injury. I could care less what some fucking 17 year old grommet thinks, I’d definatly wear a set of hip/elbow D3O protection in order to keep going.

i would like it for rolling… but i would like it more for my bike!!! road rash is not a good thing if you bail going 80 mph!!! this stuff would really help in that dept!
