Is the patent pending cause its already been patented by fiziks? Lol anyways while kind of a bite its good to see something new and not just a new color or different graphic

  2. Sick! Says:

Actually Fiziks didn’t patent anything. Tom Hyser simply licensed that idea from a company called “Sprung”, which patented the idea, They owned the the spring logo that was on the side of Fiziks frames. Patent pending means you are filed and in the long patent process which takes years to be official but still protects a brands invention throughout that process.

  3. Sick! Says:

There are many different suspension inline frame patents, this being different than that licensed by Fiziks. Even USD licensed their anti suspension frames from some random company. At least this was made for grinding instead of hockey and rec skating.

  4. lstieger Says:

Best news since a while! Looks very interesting…would love to try

  5. Anonymous Says:

So simple compared to fiziks no arms and silly little spacers.would love to try

  6. Anonymous Says:

Just pledged – although the prototype still looks a little powerblade’esque to me – not sure if I like the way the ends go straight down.

  7. Bottom Line Says:

Was very VERY seriously considering donating… than I realized for $50 you get the same exact thing as you do for $70 ????

WTF ? Good luck with that guys… $50 price bracket is sold out and I can promise you that no on is doing to pay over $50 for literally the same exact thing.

If you change it to $50 my money is as good as yours but yah, until than I’ll just wait until they actually come out and than still pay $50.

    face to the palm

  8. Anonymous Says:

Well I just pledged $70 – I figure I’ll need a new set of frames by then and besides, I want to support our industry. Looking forward to seeing the developments.

  9. Anonymous Says:

I hope the form of the final frame looks a little bit more like the current frames and not so ‘straight down’ at the ends. But fu*k it, I pledged….I want em! :)

  10. prioritize Says:

They should make a kickstarter to actually pay their riders.

  11. Alex Broskow Says:

    ………I get paid.

  12. Alex Broskow Says:

    Pledged. These look sick.

  13. Wayne Kerr Says:

Impressed with the professionalism of that video!! And love the idea. However, agree on the “straight down” front and back shape, doesnt look great… but will be good having a suspension frame that you dont have to have flat setup (fiziks) or tall frame (USD) for.

  14. Anonymous Says:

Well slap me on bum and call me Bobby, pledged.

  15. Dis Dick Says:

I’ve never liked their frames… but this is interesting. I’ll be more interested when I freestyle version is made. One thing at a time I suppose.

  16. Anonymous Says:

Doesn’t Johnny boy own that same jacket Billy is wearing?

  17. Anonymous Says:

these look really cool but what’s better than the fiziks?

  18. Yolo Says:

Dudes, $50 and $70 are the Kickstarter deals prices. These are probably gonna be like $90 when theyre in stores.

  19. Jason Says:

Much respect Brian (+ Hakeem, Billy)! Great idea – you’re a true engineer! I’m certain this will bring about a revolution in the sport. So sick!

  20. Anonymous Says:

Fiziks frames were sick but a little overly complicated and way too expensive, these appear to address both those issues.

Just pledged $70 there bound to be more expensive once released.

  21. cris Says:

Great idea guys! I´m almost 30 and I would love sove soft landing frames…

  22. pete Says:

The design is so simple its genius why didnt we think of this before

  23. SA ROLLER Says:

This idea is very similar to the old salomon frames, the difference being that the adjustment went horizontally instead of vertically.

Nice to see them doing this, something fresh!

  24. king Says:

theyre so much better in fiziks because they wont be so heavy and you wont have to deal with rocker arms. the only addition to a regular frame are spacers that arent even that much bigger than standard ones so they probably weigh a few ounces more but just as effective as fiziks were. will make them way less expensive than $150 fiziks were too. such a simple/genius idea!

  25. pom Says:

    CONCERN:

being that each wheel has two independent suspension units, if you were to landed on an angle then it would encourage one unit to move more than the other, then the wheel would be on an angle and jam against the frame…

could be remedied by bridging the wheels two suspension units over the top of the wheel..

…if this actually is an issue…just a thought

  26. duckfood Says:

im 215lb will they hold me up?

  27. duckfood Says:

also you need to do is get a hold of Cirque Du Soleil, They use old Fiziks to roll smoothly on their ramps. Got to contact them and land that contract! The ramps in LOVE are wicked bumpy ride and they could use an up grade

  28. Paul Says:

Pledged just to support the industry. Plus a T-Shirt might be heading my way.

  29. Don't call me fat Says:

I’m 305 will these hold me up?

  30. Anonymous Says:

^ fuck no. your a monster

  31. Anonymous Says:

Pledged the big 70 bring em out in white please with a not so flat end to end profile.

  32. Anonymous Says:

30 000 $?? isn’t big to make frames in China?

  33. Anonymous Says:

im weigh 455 will these hold me up?

  34. king Says:

@pom if you landed at any kind of an angle drastic enough to squish only one bushing and jam the wheels, youll probably eat shit from landing so sideways before you need to be worried about your wheels jamming

  35. Camo Says:

just pledged 10,000, do i get a free shirt ?

  36. Bubbles Says:

    Juiced for these.

  37. Don't call me fat Says:

Fuck this, I’m not losing weght just to use a frame

  38. Anonymous Says:

..and you’re probably the same type of fatty who chooses not to lose weight and insists that they only need to buy one plane ticket for half your ass to fit in.

  39. Don't call me fat Says:

^I eat chumps like you for breakfast

  40. DJ WREKSHOP Says:

Hell yes! Best news in the industry in a while! Suspension frames will be the future no doubt. Create Originals has been doing it right since day one. Keep it up guys!

Getcha pledges up for these peeps!!

  41. Anonymous Says:

you shouldn’t loose wheight to use these frames but you should loose wheight because you’re to fat

  42. lolz Says:

love how this turned into an angry mob against fatties. Anyways will def buy the frames because if it does what they say it does.. Damn! Thats gonna be sick.

Also “avid professional skaters” Hakeem? Really? Alrightie then.. hehe!

  43. pro boot Says:

    yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! total homage!!

  44. Cole Collins Says:

This is fuckin awesome work! This will definetly change the sport up a little and I see bigger tricks coming as well with these!!!

  45. Anonymous Says:

is there going to be a powerblading version of these? I’m not donating unless I can put 80mm in these.

  46. Anonymous Says:

its a poly bushes like on on cars they should make them out of carbon

  47. Tökös Says:

I think wheel jamming will be an issue for sure. Just think about Remz skates. Your balance is always on the outside of the skates. Same issue with most of the overused boots. Once they got flexible, your weight pressure goes on one side when landing.

If you buy these frames, you need brand new or very tight skates and flat top wheels in my opinion.

How can you pay for something which is not tested yet. Panama!

  48. Nautilus Says:

is there going to be a powerblading version of these?

Would also be down for a tall frame. It would be the ultimate cruising setup!

  49. Anonymous Says:

I’m curious to how these will work on those thick circle rails with a flat setup, The H-block looks very small. Will the inner wheels push down and not stick working as anti-rockers? Will there be an anti-rocker mold in the future with a bigger H-block space?

I’ll probably buy these regardless but I like skating strange obstacles without having to worry about me sticking and face-planting!

  50. Mother. Fucker. Says:

Those rubber slats….surely they will wear through incredibly quickly and deform within a short amount of time due to weight distribution…
that said I’ve not watched the video, it won’t load.

  51. Mother. Fucker. Says:

Couple gaps and the rubber will start to distort and will need replacing quite regularly…but if they make the rubber slots cheap, that’s fine and I’m sure this would be welcome addition to most skaters kit.

I imagine that the system will work better with an aluminum body to support the movement that will be encouraged due to moving parts.

Good luck with the perfection, looking forward to seeing it happen and excited to see someone trying again with a new concept.

  52. Steve Says:

3 middle aged guys cant come up with $30,000 between them? Seriously?

  53. Ginghis Says:

ok ok thats all nice and everything,

BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS:

Austin Paz please do something with your hair.

  54. Obv_broke Says:

Lots of bladers are acting like they are ball’in everyday, sippin champagne and all, like rap superstars. I like this project and found it pretty great !

    so if you’re a balla, pledge !

    BALL BALL BALL

  55. Q Says:

with the list of new materials added to the concept I imagine these frames are gonna be priced $100-125 mark my words

  56. Alophis Says:

No, these frames will be FREE!!!

Every blader – in the world – will get a pair of them.

  57. Doliprane Says:

MArk Wodka looks so much to that guy from American Horror Story !
Beside this nice commercial up there, could habe been shorter, with rythmic music and without all these anoying people talking. Maybe adding dark voices, flames and visual explosion could have been nice

  58. Anonymous Says:

*3 middle aged guys cant come up with $30,000 between them? Seriously?*

why risk capital when you have “investors” essentially paying for your first run …

interesting but i’ll wait to see if kids break their faces first

    also the weight rating ……

if it’s rated @ 215lbs ….a 170 lbs person flying off lets say a 10 set…. how many pounds of pressure does that create ?

or are the pair of spacers good for 215 lbs ?

i’ll gladly pay the premium for the 2nd,3rd run to not die because catastrophic failure

  59. Sick! Says:

There is a bunch of info on the Kickstarter page that answers all your questions about weight and materials. which its urethane not rubber. You might all know this if you actually read or watch the video before commenting.

  60. Anonymous Says:

Pledged $100 – these look sick.

  61. Anonymous Says:

Great to see a company actually try and innovate for once. I’m so fed up of companies like ‘youth’ and ‘dead’ popping up, getting a few top pros involved and thinking they can therefore charge a premium for a bog standard product.

    I’m in.

  62. obv_broke Says:

*3 middle aged guys cant come up with $30,000 between them? Seriously?*

    think outside the box

cause maybe it involves more than 30k !!

  63. 70Sav Says:

This is off to an awesome start. Fiziks were good, but heavy, and you could definitely appreciate the suspension. Lots of control with suspension. This is a little more subtle, looks lighter, and hopefully ends up working really well. It is SO good to see people trying new shit in blading. Only concern would be blowing out the urethane on a spacer, like breaking old plastic rockers, you will eat shit. If Wodja keeps using them, I will have no doubts. Hopefully they don’t end up charging $150. I think $60-$75 is what it’s gonna take to make a real change in the blade game.

  64. Elisabeth Says:

I like my steak, but let me tell you this: those veggies are pretty darn good by themselves if you’re eating them with the people you love. Some people even remodel their garages at the same time they build a pool. I can almost hear the lilt of their voices in the soft warm breeze, “Well done, boys.
