CREATE ORIGINALS: 2010 Pro Team Introduction

Ok, so here’s the official press release to address all of the rumors about the Create Originals pro team.
When the three of us started Create, we had a vision for how we wanted to portray the company, team and image.
Our goal is to provide the best for the skate community in all aspects, not only with our product but with our team image and riders as well. Basically, we wanted to offer more than a new product, we wanted to give the skate community something to be excited about and proud of.
That being said, we at Create Originals are very proud to announce our TWO newest pro riders, Chris Farmer and Alex Broskow. We’re excited to have them on board and you can expect to see a lot of cool things coming from Create Originals in 2010. Welcome to the team fellas! CO.
-Billy O’Neill
The 2010 Pro Team: Sean Kelso, Alex Broskow, Chris Farmer, John Bolino, Colin Kelso, Billy O’Neill.

SICK, OG should now be OMG, coz thats what people will be saying when they see this team. Great stuff.
February 9th, 2010 at 12:10 pm
That is the worst introduction video, ever… They are launching a company, so decided to all get into a skatepark and film the promo for the team, probably within a couple of hours… Pure lack of enthusiasm, laziness, or perhaps arrogance. They should put some effort in, go and make a proper promo, instead of rushing everything. Weak effort. Nothing more than another lazy park edit. And even worse, nothing even overly impressive. A bad start.
February 9th, 2010 at 12:25 pm
dam good team line up
February 9th, 2010 at 12:36 pm
must agree with frazer, that was pretty weak
February 9th, 2010 at 12:43 pm
team is boss!
I thought the edit was artsy and it doesn’t need the big stunts in it and btw this wallride by bolino was sick! looking forward to see more of OG!
February 9th, 2010 at 12:46 pm
Frazer and flew, come off it man weve all seen what they can do in there dvd profiles. this is a pretty good promo and the lighting effect is good to. if they were really lazy they wouldent of even done that now would they. like i said any true rollerblader would see past this promo and realise what a strong team they have. and just imagen a tour or even a team DVD gunna be sick man.
February 9th, 2010 at 12:52 pm
now thats a killteam
February 9th, 2010 at 1:10 pm

February 9th, 2010 at 1:35 pm
IS FARMER GAY? Really? He’s the greatest and the faggotest, it’s weird….
February 9th, 2010 at 2:36 pm
That was wicked, that wallride gap to the box then 5 off was wicked! Nice lil edit, good jobs guys :) x
February 9th, 2010 at 3:09 pm
nice! farmer looks so glam rock! haha, lovin it.
February 9th, 2010 at 3:09 pm
Frazer, are you serious? The work that went into this trailer is obvious – the lighting and filming is awesome, WAY more effort than I have seen from most other companies.
The tricks are cool as well, maybe not the best tricks in the world, but most of them were real cool to watch.
I think your comment is a bit harsh. The production values on this are real high.
Dan
February 9th, 2010 at 3:18 pm
Why are they not showing the product in the video?
Surely they should do that with every video just like razors do?
February 9th, 2010 at 3:58 pm
such a sick ass team and farmer reminds me of M Bison from the Street fighter hahahah
February 9th, 2010 at 4:18 pm
the team is sick… too bad the frames break…
February 9th, 2010 at 4:21 pm

February 9th, 2010 at 5:09 pm

February 9th, 2010 at 5:12 pm
Your a dumb nigger
February 9th, 2010 at 5:27 pm

February 9th, 2010 at 5:33 pm
to the fagget saying they are lazy…. get out there and do some hot shit to make them want to skate harder instead of all this wack shit i see lately from EVERYONE but the french
February 9th, 2010 at 6:00 pm
I thought it was this promo was sick!! it looked cool, shot well and more importantly the frames are good..I just got mine over the weekend, with my new estilo le set up.. Its been raining so i only got to them once and just for a little while..I must say they felt good right out of the box…they feel very solid, and slide great!! I have a 2.5 year old son and we used crayons to create our originals..stoked on that!!
February 9th, 2010 at 6:04 pm
disappointing broskow left GC
February 9th, 2010 at 6:33 pm
they are really promoting these frames well and now with a solid team. I’m really curious to see how the frames skate, but I’m not ready to drop $70 on frames just yet.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:50 pm
BBallog you can try mine one day in Novato, they are pretty sweet. Slide sooo good. Im really enjoying them, and after two months finally have a groove and a little illustrator skills. yay. Sweetest announcement of the day. It was like coffee. The promo edit was fresh, got me all hyped – watchd it twice. Way to go CO , Im OG4Life!
February 9th, 2010 at 7:32 pm
No comment on the promo here, I’m just sick of people talking about filming and production quality as some redeeming feature, it’s not. Bad filming can ruin good skating, but amazing filming cannot fix bad skating. In a rollerblading edit the number one thing is the skating.
February 9th, 2010 at 7:37 pm
…I liked the edit. But the frames aren´t that good….
February 9th, 2010 at 7:41 pm
well said well =0
February 9th, 2010 at 8:04 pm
Dan – Are we skaters, or video producers? Don’t say both and insult true video producers…
February 9th, 2010 at 8:10 pm
I’m with “Well” on this one too, I’m not even getting into this promo, best of luck to them etc (I think the frames look awful) but I’m not interested especially in HD and small apertures with pull focusing lets just get some clips son! Skating is first priority THEN we’ll get into the production values.
About the actual promo.
That wallride to cab 5 would have looked fucking sick on a 1-chip handycam!
February 9th, 2010 at 8:12 pm
Apologies in advance, it’s just it made me laugh in my head and no offense to the man himself hopefully but…
Billy O’neill has a fucking stupid looking mouth hahahaha.
February 9th, 2010 at 8:24 pm
Regarding the comment about Create Originals breaking i would have to argue that. I have always had to skate flat in order to avoid breaking frames cause I weigh a lot. I have been skating my Create Originals in the winter/snow/etc in a freestyle set up and have found them to be my favorite frames yet. The plastic seems to be harder (which often results in breaking but not in CO’s case) also so they grind amazing. I am a big supporter of what they are doing. And seriously their team is like the Dream Team – full of the steeziest.
February 9th, 2010 at 8:50 pm
There are so many things on here that could be argued about this.
My personal view on it is that I would have liked to see hammers on street rather than small tech park clips… all of them are easily capable of it, and pretty much any clip they could go out and get on any given day would probably be of that standard.
The lighting however, was indeed pretty cool, and the little tech tricks are undeniably skilful… but I feel I’d have been more hyped if there were tricks there that I had to shout ‘HOLY SHIT’ at after watching, and ask everyone who cared “Did you see the CO team intro vid? it was mental!!!”.
I guess some will appreciate the production values and the technical aspects of the whole intro, and others would expect more. All in all, its at least being noticed and discussed! And that’s what CO will want, that little bit of exposure.
February 9th, 2010 at 8:56 pm
So far, Create Originals has done a good job with company image and promotion. I think it’s really sick to see a skate company that represents what’s REAL and sick. Billy O Neil knows what’s dope in blading and I think the new frames look dope. I want to get a pair after my GC FLT 1’s get worn out.
February 9th, 2010 at 9:00 pm
What the fuck does Chris Farmer look like? Chris Farmer: the Michael Jackson of Rollerblading.
February 9th, 2010 at 9:14 pm
Im gonna be a bigger attention whore than farmer and start skating in a wizzard costume, or a fucking storm trooper armor. Jesus the guy must not hav been hugged as a kid, cuz he craves attention.
February 9th, 2010 at 9:52 pm
village people !!!!!!!!!!!
February 9th, 2010 at 10:01 pm
Be sick if you got haffey on board !
February 9th, 2010 at 10:13 pm
aside from having a good team can anyone explain what the hype with these frames is? aesthetically they look pretty ugly (like old senate frames with graphics)
I can’t understand why anyone would use them over GC, 50/50 etc, did i miss something?
February 9th, 2010 at 10:21 pm
Team is legit as f*ck. mad skills
February 9th, 2010 at 10:22 pm
Frazer, it’s an intro get over it.
February 9th, 2010 at 11:50 pm
sick team..but gc ??finito?
February 9th, 2010 at 11:51 pm
is jon jon high??? haha !
February 10th, 2010 at 12:50 am
I think this is the best team in the Frame industry
February 10th, 2010 at 12:55 am
CREATE ORIGINALS LOOKS SO GAY. I BET THEY SKATE LIKE SHIT. THEY LOOK LIKE TALL ASS REMZ/RAZOR FRAMES EXCEPT THEY ARE 70 FUCKING DOLLARS. JONJONLOOKSLIKEASTRAIGHTTARD

February 10th, 2010 at 1:43 am
Too many stupid ass remarks from kids who probably cant skate or cant afford to buy the frames they’re making fun of…OG is on point the team and the product prove it
February 10th, 2010 at 2:21 am
another skate frame company whoopididooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop trying to sell another pair of probabaly dumb ass frame and concetrate on rolling bitches trying to make some quick cash on these kids who riding your cocks rollerblading still the same after quiiting for a while i see at least I support the cause by getting kids to roll in my neighborhood oh yeah and all you peepz are still STIFF HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHH get some bend lol
February 10th, 2010 at 2:26 am
Jon Jon had best trick, then broskow.
“such a sick ass team and farmer reminds me of M Bison from the Street fighter hahahah” Perfectly put.
Couldn’t give a hooten tooten about the frames just want to see the footage of that team.
February 10th, 2010 at 4:09 am
yeah he is the Michael Jackson of rollerblading, Michael Jackson was awesome!
February 10th, 2010 at 8:37 am
The frames are almost the same exact specs as the FluidIII. THEY ARE NOT TALL.
They skate better than the featherlights AND slimlines.
Hating on the company is hating on our sport as a whole. CO is 100% skater owned, the only part that they don’t own is the factory. Everything else; mold, patent, company, distribution, is all owned by people who actually skate.
Farmer needs to drop the village people look tho………
February 10th, 2010 at 11:51 am
all you niggas is gay son. farmer is mien fuer biznitch.
February 10th, 2010 at 2:27 pm
These frames are NOT the same spec as fluid III’s. I’m not saying these are good or bad but I’ve been skating fluid III Richie Eisler’s for time and the dimensions aren’t even similar… they’re both frame-shaped that’s the only similarity I can detect.
On a similar note, I am not a poor person so it’s got nothing to do with being unable to pay for these frames but I can get fluid III frames which are my favourite frames in over 10 years now for what? Less than half the price?
I’m not hating these frames, I wouldn’t pay for slim lines either and F1’s are a bit excessive. At the end of the day I’m going to be fucking my frames up on ledges and angle irons etc. so I want a good combination of low cost and high quality, for me, the fluid III is perfect.
Another question, does anyone else find the FLT’s plastic to be really soft? Mine wore down crazily fast.
February 10th, 2010 at 2:44 pm
im not a huge fan of these frames other than the fact you can change your design, m loving my kizer slimlines so ill stick to them for a bit longer till i need new frames then i might get these, but the H-block looks tiny compaired to my slimlines.
February 10th, 2010 at 4:01 pm
God people are fucking stupid.
I placed a NEW pair ofsmall fluidIII next to a pair of small NEW CO frames. They were the exact same hight at the front axle and had the same 1-4 axle leignth. The fluidIII’s have that retarded arch which causes fit issues and makes the groove appear different. The Kizer axles and spacers fit the CO frames perfectly. The CO groove is .5cm wider and they don’t need the stupid arch design to prevent cracking.
February 10th, 2010 at 5:06 pm
I don’t care about the outer axle spacing, nearly every frame on the market in a small size will have the nearly the exact same spacing on the outer axles, “god people are so fucking stupid”.
There’s only so many ways you can adjust the wheels spacing and axle height on frames without compromising the stability and comfort of the ride, it’s called an “industry standard”. I don’t now why I’m arguing this, anyone with fucking eyes in their heads can see that the h-block and side walls are alien to each other.
I’ve never had fit issues with my fluid III’s, the only problem I have had is trying to fit 60mm wheels on them which took some breaking in because they were rubbing the bottom of my boot, I like big wheels so it was worth it though.
February 10th, 2010 at 5:11 pm
Spacers and bolts fit perfectly? They also fit those ugly bitch massive rollerblade frames perfectly (my g.f has some in the apartment, I just checked them) and the axle spacing is the same, does that mean CO, Fluid III and Herman Munsters RB frames are the same specs?
February 10th, 2010 at 5:33 pm
Anyway, maybe I’m right and maybe I’m wrong.
Best of luck to CO, they have an amazing team and I’m always happy to see skater owned endeavors up and about but these frames aren’t for me personally.
February 10th, 2010 at 5:49 pm
that was tight, stop hating.
February 10th, 2010 at 7:08 pm
not so original for a company called create originals. this is a rip off of a Globe skateboard add check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-TtgpVlDSc
February 10th, 2010 at 7:09 pm
all you kids fucking suck
February 10th, 2010 at 7:10 pm
and rollernews is fucking gay as fuck for restrictions.
February 10th, 2010 at 7:47 pm
the level of anonymous on this website leaves everybody willing to hate on eachother. No one would feel the need to say these things in real life.
February 10th, 2010 at 8:00 pm
New favorite thing is to come on Rollernews and read hate, it helps me to realize I am not as bitter a piece of shit as I thought… You kids do realize that these people do this sort of thing for the love of it and a little money and you constantly rip on them and try and break them down… I love it, it must be really motivating for the pros to want to go out and kill themselves for the approval of an anonymous internet hater who called them a fag, only to take back the statement if they would go back to dressing like they were from 2000.
Logical progression?
February 10th, 2010 at 8:07 pm
well holy fuck shit bitch cunt licking son of a gun. thats a team and now its a brand. keep it up fellas its looking real gooooood, promote it love it and acheive the most…. nimhRIDERroller4LIFE
February 10th, 2010 at 8:10 pm
farmer looked like a right twat haha
February 10th, 2010 at 8:23 pm
and one last word from experience… I’ve skated at a park with Farmer, Broskow, and Bolino before and to think that EVERYONE only got one trick is a joke. Wonder what happened when they turned the lights ON at america’s premiere skatepark….
Do you really think all these people flew to Rye Airfield to get one trick. All those tricks probably happened within the first hour of the session, and it would only take that long because of lighting setups. These are some of the best bladers in the world and this edit is what is often referred to as a teaser, even though here it is a press release. Information about WHOM will be in subsequent edits.
Furthermore, Sean is still hurt.
February 10th, 2010 at 9:06 pm
^ well said on both accounts AJ… these kids don’t understand because they sit on here all day instead of having a life, and I bet if they could meet the guys they’re talking shit about… not one word of discontent, or disapproval would slip out of their mouths… they’re nothing but garbage in our community… Sean is still hurt because he actually uses his rollerblades, which about 90% of you on here don’t do…
Furthermore I’ve seen the shit they throw down when they’re up here and it’s beast… this was more of a thoughtful, artistic production representing more than just tricks I believe…
February 11th, 2010 at 1:57 am
farmer looks like a retard!!! as usual…
February 11th, 2010 at 5:10 am
sickass team…
February 11th, 2010 at 5:54 am
what does OG stand for ?
February 11th, 2010 at 6:45 am
The team lineup looks super sick. My only criticism is that I think Farmer needs to try harder to look original.
Every time I see him I’m like “God, he needs to get a new blouse.”
February 11th, 2010 at 6:53 am
ok, all i gotta say is that everyone ragging on farmer needs to just quit judging…i’ve skated with him a few times and everytime he killed it regardless of how he dressed…he’s just being different than any of you that cant roll worth shit so you try and find the person who stands out the most and rag on them instead of trying to improve yourself and the industry
February 11th, 2010 at 10:08 am
“…it must be really motivating for the pros to want to go out and kill themselves for the approval of an anonymous internet hater who called them a fag, only to take back the statement if they would go back to dressing like they were from 2000.”
Couldn’t have said it better myself.
February 11th, 2010 at 3:24 pm
Blade hating on a messageboard is kind of like that skateboarder that hates on rollerblading. Can’t do any tricks, looks like a fool and when confronted buckles under the pressure of realizing he’s a coward.
February 11th, 2010 at 3:29 pm
But lets keep hating and not supporting so when the company goes under, we can talk about how sick it was and post things on messageboards asking when a blader owned company will come around, make a sick product and have a sick team. (Fiziks?)
February 11th, 2010 at 5:55 pm
Farmer is actually a rockstar, on his blades and in his bros band. Don’t hate cause he’s special and your not. You love to hate it!
February 11th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
It’s lame if a team like this were to add someone like Haffey when already they added two big names like farmer and browskow. Plus, the 2 new riders are obviously from GC.
GC already has a horde of riders repping their frames and CO brings something new to the tables which has a cool new look to it. Maybe with edits and teams like this they are trying to push blading in the PROPER direction.
February 12th, 2010 at 3:45 pm
LOL Farmer, what a fail.. I bet his Dad regrets having a child
February 15th, 2010 at 4:54 am
kid above me is a faggot. i’d love to meet each one of you kids calling farmer a faggot so that i could knock you each the fuck out.
February 16th, 2010 at 7:00 am
i agree with RL…i’ve met farmer and he’s WAY cooler than any of these faggots bashing him or any midwest skaters for that fact…every blader from the midwest i’ve met has had a true heart for the sport and would never bash anyone that blades as well
