BTW: It would be cool is a helmet manufacturer would supply the option of designing a helmet yourself.

not my cup of tea. I like the idea but I’m more into super macho helmets. We should have one with like a porn star on it or something. Like I’d seriously sport a helmet with like Jenna Jameson on it.

they look ight and flashy but in truth they really suck because if you hit them hard enough they will crack. used to work at a Target that carried these helmets i wanted to see how strong it was so i put it on the ground and stood on it and rocked back and forth and the helmet cracked.
plus added to that the padding in the helmet is very un comfortable and is a styrofoam core. The plastic on the helmet is really thin and can crack easy if hit hard enough. the helmet is only tested to endure a weak blow to the head. your better off painting your regular helmet which is rated to withstand a heavy blow to the head and uses padding that slow the head alot more suttel than just a quick jar like styrofoam. your better off sticking with a helmet brand like triple eight.

I never ware a helmet. I know i should been told by skater, parents doctors ( 6 concoussions ) and i guess i still havint learned? I should ware one i mean shit… people die from hittin there head as we all know but i cant ware one and if i did it would be a plain one with some stickers on it like my yellow roces one i use for those parks that make u ware them and lake owen.

Rob is referring to the Nutcase range that Target sold via a PTI deal – they are a cheaper / older version. The Nutcase range is different now and has an EPS liner and ABS shell. They go through the testing labs for all the standards.

Hey Rob, Nutcase Helmets – no styrofoam. They are EPS and they exceed all Euro, US, Australasian, standards. They’re now about the safest on the market – independently tested!! Good news isn’t it!!
