Good thing CJ went to USD. Remz rather sponsors and gives pro skates to washed up pros like franky and wood. At least franky still puts up decent edits though but not better edits or skating better than CJ.

There is no point comparing CJ to other street skaters, they are in a different category really.
Real street:
Haffey, Broskow, stockwell, Kelso’s etc
These guys are not that impressive to watch in a competition, only on videos or best trick comps. In the Asian Xgames, the asian dudes had way better lines. I was suprised CJ was not there… he would have won hands down.
Park:
CJ is a powerhouse and can string tech and big impressive tricks together. If the ASA or Xgames had runs still, he would be constantly winning.

aragon is still raising the bar in the streets every fuckin edit he puts out. but he isn’t one you’d refer to when talkin about americans. and i dont recall anyone else doing ANYTHING.. heavy emphasis on anything, that farmer does in his sections!
Cj shreds hard, and im always impressed by his skating, and some of you haters should open your eyes and realize they doin this nearly for free just because they like to.

I think the whole WRS thing backfired and hurt the image American Pros.
First there was that bull shit online edit battle to replace a real Championship comp, where CJ and Cudot would have dominated. By going the edit route, it guaranteed an American win, despite Nils ruining their party. So they had a bogus panel of judges pick Aragon, but we all know Nils really won.
Then the BCSD debacle where Broskow tapped an ankle high skateboard rail all night and got first place. Remz couldn’t even afford to send CJ to BCSD.
These things just reinforce that American pros have fallen behind the rest of the world. We want to see CJ vs. Cudot and Nils. We’re tired of watching Broskow tap tiny rails. And USD has replaced Remz as the coolest skate on the planet.

Cj is not (yet) sponsored by USD, he is just rolling what feels good. Remz were gay and only wanted to make make money of Cj with the hundreds of kids that bought thier skates because of Cj, BUT! did not want to put that back into Cj’s skating with flights to comps etc.. thats why u didn’t see him many of the 2011 big events in the states and Europe, not because he did not want to be there, Remz were tigh ass’ and wouldn’t even let the 2010 World Champ Defend his own crown WTF..
I love watching Cj roll, and I’m lucky enough to see it first hand often. He is a beast and a nice dude.
Look after this guy, he makes kids drop skateboards, scooters, bmx’s, and have a go at Rollerblading. I have seen it happen with my own eyes.

at this point he’s testing the Carbon Free’s… but yeah i think he will be up for pro status on USD soon enough.. seeing as he’s on the UC and Kizer team now.. and testing the skates.. and he said he’s loving them…

WRS was just something U.S. skate companies developed to promote their pros and skates. the problem is the Am’s keep showing up the pros, and the International skaters keep showing up the Americans. most of these comps don’t pick the best skater to win, they pick the pro from the sponsor who paid the most money for the comp.
there needs to be an independent worldwide skating organization that holds competitons several times a year, including a World Championship, with judges who don’t work for a specific skate company. then skaters like CJ would finally get the recognition he deserves, because he would always kick ass at a legit comp.

CJ is absolutley amazing and exciting to watch. I don’t understand why he is so underrated, it just doesn’t make any sense. CJ should be sponsored by every tight blade company, have his own skate and be on tv cuz his skating will make the general public love blading. You can tell he just loves to roll…I hope he gets the recognition and sponsorship’s he deserves.

USD is straight messing up not putting CJ on the pro team though, also Cudot for that matter. Cudot will never go pro for USD after all these years because they don’t find him marketable for some stupid reason. Now they will not make CJ pro because OLi Benet doesn’t like him as well as Cudot.
