haffey did alley7 soul, on/over a bigass box, going fast, and slid a decent amount, and basically laced the hell out of it except for putting his hand down a bit.
lomax did true7 soul, over a little pyramid, not going as fast, and basically tapped the grind, and it was sketchy as hell.
not to hate on lomax, he’s an awesome skater….. it’s just that i think the props should always go to the first person to do a trick WELL, not the first person to barely squeak it out.

AND btw, all of you guys who are going bat shit over what the trick is ..please stop fussing. I have been skating over five years and I still can’t keep up with all the technicle names for tricks. I realize that different spins, grinds , tricks in general require different names ,but there are too many variations
4 the average roller to keep up with.(I think if you were to sneez during a trick,somebody would name it and consider it a whole new trick.) Haffey rules the world. I hope he gets a way better pay check than the others. But that still wouldn’t be too much.

ao a spin into a grind so that you land backwards
truespin ao is the same but spinning the other way
a 360 ao soul would therefore be a full cab ao soul, ie rolling backwards, spinning 360 and landing in a soul going backwards
a 360 inspin/outspin soul however, is when you’re moving forwards (as haffey is) and you spin and land moving forwards
ao and truespin signify that either a 180 or 540 were performed to get into the trick, providing you weren’t going backwards
so, ao and truespin grinds are where you move backwards in the grind
ive never heard a normal 360 soul be called a 360 ao soul, thats bullshit
haffey does a 720 inspin (it might be outspin, im not 100% on that) soul
if it was a 720 ao soul he would actually be rolling backwards, spinning fakie 720 over the box and landing in an ao soul (ie backwards)

Randy, i think you just have a hard time discerning criticism from “trash talking” or “talking shit” or just negativity in general. it’s a common trait among rollerbladers- they hear something they don’t like and immediately write it off as “talking shit” without even listening to what the person is really trying to say. please show me one instance where i’ve said something purely negative without at least trying to be constructively critical.
