  1. Trill Bill Says:

There is most certainly two Chris Farmers, this one and the new one don’t even skate remotely similar.

It would be great to say he got better or worse, but that isn’t the case… He just created his own style, and still has difficult tricks on some crazy obstacles.

    Easily a legend.

He had some decent gaps there too!

  2. Big Blaze 715 Says:

Too bad hes such a queer now.

  3. Wow Says:

A trick vocabulary that is FAR MORE IMPRESSIVE than todays level. What happened to skating? OK sure we refined it alot, higher production values and everyone working on their steez more but why cant we skate at this level now?

  4. poop Says:

Fuck the retards who think this is harder than the shit he does now.

  5. mollincartin Says:

this is my favorite skatevideo ever… such a feel good vibe

  6. what Says:

if you think this shit is harder than today’s… it’s because you’re not good enough to do either and have no way to compare. but forget about the skating… let’s all just talk about his pants?

  7. name not required Says:

I agree with Big Blaze… looks like farmer always had a fashion problem, lol.. the skating in this edit is sick though. even if he is this good still, i cant see it because he’s a drag queen now. i dont mean to be so closed minded. i just cant enjoy someones skating when they are annoying to look at.

  8. Doug Cupo Says:

Farmer is Iconic in all of his sections…this was my favorite growing up during this time and blading.

  9. suck it Says:

    Holy S ! I remember this :) WOW ! memory lane…

  10. Pattywhack Says:

    my personal favorite farmer section

  11. Tempus fugit Says:

Anyone hating on Farmer present style is a fucking queer. I mean look at this section, some skaters ( cough…Iain Mcleod….cough) do the exact same thing nowadays. Only he did it when he was a teenager.

I think Farmers present sections are just mind-blowing. First outsiders would look at him and laugh about his clothes and blah blah bah…but then he lands tricks that made some outsiders be like : What the FUUUUUUU…..!

Love him or hate him Farmer is himself, he makes skating progress, he always have good street sections and good music selection.

How can you hate on that…

  12. bigshot Says:

chris farmer is the boss, nowadays as well as in the past…. who cares about fucking clothes?

all you do is bitching, bitching like little bitches i hate most of you!

  13. bigshot Says:

his rolling would look cooler than yours even if he would skate in some speedos or shit like that

    fucking cunts!

  14. Alex F. Says:

Was, is, and will always be the best …

  15. Scott Wilcoxson Says:

11 years ago Chris had already done the majority of things most people are still working on today. Thanks Chris for continuing to evolve rolling and staying true to yourself!

  16. horst Says:

I guess im a old fuck but damn i liked the sweat pants era much more than todays girly pants but your right emo farmer still kills shit like no other.

  17. eh Says:

farmer is better than anyone better than haffey and aragon

  18. ufff Says:

Tempus fugit no hate for farmer , he just looks like a girl, why cant he wear normal jeans and white tshirt , you dont need gay clothing to show off, your blades say everything.with all the fruitcakes around its hard to stand out so u betta put on a scarf and dye your hair

  19. ufff Says:

big shot please shut up you probaly wanna see Farmer naked

  20. Tempus fugit Says:

@ ufff : I honestly don’t give 2 shits on how he looks … lets face it blading is uncool for most people. It’s an individual thing. If bladers would like to be acclaimed by huge crowds they should go out and do some motocross stunts ( yeah right).

Dude, when I skate I plug my Ipod , I put on some loud-ass black metal, I skate as fast I can and I don’t give a fuck.

If people got a problem with that, they can take a fist in the jaw.

  21. Muffdiver Says:

K dirty funnah in dis one , wish dey had all dem jokes he say

  22. Anonymous Says:

same style, different clothes, harder tricks

    every one die

  23. Anonymous Says:

Now that’s how you wear a 5xl shirt

  24. @wow Says:

Most people back in the day couldn’t skate at Farmers level. That’s why he’s considered a legend.

  25. speculos Says:

Salamon needs to make a come back with these skates. Vinny Minton and Chris Farmer had their best style on these skates.

  26. chris Says:

if this wasn’t farmer there there would be a gulf of “too many rail tricks” comments

  27. Jow Jow Says:

Formerly it was gangster, is now a Finola! Ass in tight pants!

  28. Paul Haut Says:

Now i remember why i start rollerblading!

  29. ha! Says:

    Boucherie.

t was a bit too short. Please go back and

  30. Alex M. Says:

“Salamon needs to make a come back with these skates. Vinny Minton and Chris Farmer had their best style on these skates.”

I can’t believe nobody has bought that mold. I’m sure it’s quite expensive, but it’s so worth it; I know PLENTY of skaters who would buy a pair right away, myself included. Salomons were just so incredibly comfortable and lightweight, but still solid as hell. Such an awesome skate. Also the first brand to go UFS.

All they would need is a better design in the backslide area, maybe even a backslide plate. Torque tricks in particular were always a bit awkward in those.

  31. DarthRoller Says:

Farmer was at a level then that most people try to achieve now.

Frightening thing is, he was like 16 or 17 here.

Insane amounts of talent and hard work. Utterly insane.

Continues to define and re-define our perceptions on tricks on a seemingly year-in, year-out basis.

He made everyone want to wear massive sweats. He made everyone want to do hurricane topsouls. He was the one doing gaps through holes. He single-handedly made negatives cool again. He made people skate the “underbar” of handrails. Fucks knows what sorcery he’ll conjure up next.

  32. Hans H Says:

    Nicely said Darthroller

  33. Luke Says:

@Alex M.: Actually the basic salo mold is an open one today. The Rollerblade Fury and Alchemy Pure Air are based on it. Obviously they lack a lot of quality when it comes to plastic compunds n stuff, but it´s that very mold…

  34. Tom Sharman Says:

I think DarthRoller just said it all right there…

  35. RCH Says:

    dartroller said it all

  36. DarthTROLLER Says:

Little kok-smoking groms. All of you.

  37. Jaded Says:

I wonder when Youth Co. is actually coming out. Did anyone notice that their new logo says MMXI on it, as in 2011, and yet it’s 2012 now? JJ running behind as usual, with too many projects on the table.

  38. H Says:

His style hasn’t changed one bit. How can you not see that? It’s still the same person and he never tried to skate like anyone but himself.

  39. what Says:

i think the whole clothing thing is very simple, actually: imagine if every skate park you went to… there were 20 kids dressed EXACTLY like you? how many years would you put up with this before it was annoying? if i was farmer i’d be dressing like that too. you want to dress like me? ok… come get it. you’ve gotta be a committed biter to copy him now! well played i say.

  40. ufff Says:

    Tempus fugit
any type of metal is tight !!! hard to see a rollerblader hearing good music(respect), I have heard rollerblading videos with Britney Spears WTF !!!

  41. Words Says:

Word-up! That´s exactly what happened. Plus he plays the bass with his brother in a rock band. He had his reasons. I still love the old “White boy gangsta” style.

  42. ;D Says:

Daaamn ! He was good before to turn gay…

  43. Q Says:

Its very simple this could be the most influential section to Rollerblading ever some would argue DL’s words I will agree to that one also. But Farmer has done more for the sport then most rollerbladers in one state no matter what his clothing choice is. Farmer set the bar for the level of what pros should be skating at, this Vg19 section is still amazing years later.

  44. ghims Says:

WHETHER OR NOT YOU LOVE FARMER, YOU’LL ALL BE QUEUING UP WHENEVER HE HAS A NEW SECTION COMING OUT!!!!!!!!!!

    motherfucken word.

  45. Anonymous Says:

1:23 ……..uhmm pardon me? what The fuck

  46. Greg (French MOFO) Says:

Farmer skates as hell, he’s insane! Nevertheless his daddy has always been Dustin Latimer, until he decided to quit (Hip hop style to punk no future).
