Not as good as e.g. the Meantime section, but still very entertaining to watch, I’ve watched the dvd from start to finish a few times now, it’s awesome to watch how he’s developed as a skater.

Certains nous font des claquettes, des 4 switch up sur des barres de pelouses, ça a le mérite d’être vraiment amusant (ridicule quoi)… Farmer, il fait des true makio grabbés sur des rails et, même si le style est un peu “exagéré”, eh bien il donne vraiment envie d’aller rouler ! So Amazing !!! Loved it !

Not to sound ignorant, but I don’t know why all of a sudden pro skaters are all into negative grinds when old pros like Josh Letona and Omar Wysong were doing them years ago and were making them look good back then. Why the sudden trendiness?

YES THATS WHAT ITS ABOUT, BUSINESS & MAKING MONEY. THATS WHAT BEING A PROFESSIONal IS ALL ABOUT. I KNOW IT ISNT WHAT SKATINGS AOUT BUT SKATING FOR FUN AND SKATING AS A PRO ARE DIFFERENT. ALL YOU HATERS NEED TO OPEN UP A DICTIONARY, LOOK UP THE WORD, AND REALIZE THAT THERE ARE RULES WHEN TALKING ABOUT PRO STATUS, ITS NOT ABOUT FAIRNESS, AND YES THE PEOPLE WHO HIRE PROS DO MAKE THE RULES ITS NOT A DEMOCRACY, YOU DONT GET TO CHOOSE WHO IS PRO OR NOT, SPONSORS DO. things go in and out, however in this instance its evolving the sport.

i’m pretty sure chris does what he wants and at the time of filming that section he happened to want to do negatives.
it’s quite simple, if you like it, enjoy it, if not, don’t watch it.

chris farmer can do anything, any time he wants…. he has done every amazing trick 100 times so now he does impossible negative tricks, and impossible tricks on certain spots.
farmer is legendary!

Josh letona did not make negatives look good. Omar Wysong used to have the dopest style (brain fear gone) but when he switched to freestyle and started doing negatives his style got super weird. I am positive I am not the only one who feels this way.
Farmer is the dopest, he’s been doing groundbreaking shit since forever, and makes negatives look like real tricks. Not all stretched out and shaky like the negative mizous that Josh Letona used to do.

fuck that, this guy is a fuckin legend. his style is smooth like no one else, he does tricks never seen before with an amazing ease. when you’re chris farmer you don’t have to prove anything on your blades, he has done evrything and i guess it helps our sport to have someone like him with such a high maturity in his rollerblading doing smart tricks.

No I wasn’t saying that Farmer is bad at skating now at all because I think he is f*cking amazing and that he does negatives very stylishly. I was just wondering why pros all of sudden were so big into negatives when they’ve always been around like every other trick has, that’s all. Farmer will always be one of the greats in rollerblading history that is undeniable, his sections will still be fresh and innovative years down the road and kids will still watch them decades to come and be impressed.

Doods who think negatives are a trend for farmer, he’s been doing every kind of trick (full cab shit, fastslides and pudslides, negatives, vertical stalls, random wall/handplants, and cess slides down stairs) since forever. Since he was skating razors and salomons back in the day, ever heard of vg 19, watch it!
