gc needs to come out with a video already. the team is huge and the amount of footage they would get filming for a gc video would be amazing

  8. Dan Says:

I think this is cos they used to be on it, either that or tis cos they r boh sponsered by rat-tail companies, but the both quite clearly skate xsjados with xsjado fames and have done for ages, even when farmer was on deshi he skated xsjados. f*ck knows man.

  9. al dolega Says:

just a guess, but i’d say they’re riding GC’s because they like them. they could both get free frames from whoever they want.

  10. RobF Says:

how could he make a team vid? who gets a section, everyone?

  11. colm Says:

i think gc are the best, i think farmer and stockwell are the best, this is safe as.

  12. Dark_Soul Says:

The idea that big names like Chris Farmer and Jeff Stockwell are only getting free frames from GC doesn’t make sense to me. Chris Farmer and Jeff Stockwell are probably now with GC for a whole host of reasons… friends, frames, touring and money… I mean, if they’re not getting some sort of pay check I’d be very surprised.

  13. mr_gerbic Says:

I haven’t been up to date with the industry news, but I’ve read before there was an issue with salomon. Since Xsjado was being distributed by salomon dist. and since salomon isn’t dealing with skates anymore to my knowledge (the salomon website has nothing skate related) Shane C. more then likely went under the wing of Rat Tail… which would explain why Farmer is skating 4×4 wheels now. This is just a guess… our maybe Shane C. is just burnt out and said F*&K IT!!! I’m done!

  14. mindroll Says:

did you remember the stockwell park edit or the vicious tour trailer … or watch out in heat team video … stockwell rides gc frames now and then and another time hes riding xsjado frames again.

so this isnt really new to me.

  15. asswipe Says:

stockwell was on there before he was on xsjado…wtf happened to xsjado?

  16. bsc Says:

what the fuck is going on, frist he leve’s mindgame now mook I guess next steep is leveing xsjado and that is fuck’t up

  17. Ru_Stockwell Says:

Wtf? xsjado is not rattail. Xsjado is Conference now!

    And koubis, please, change it!
LOLya Kreyvis? Are you kidding? He is Kolya Kreyvis. But not Lolya. Lmao. LOLya hahahaha

  18. carlos Says:

  19. carlos Says:

  20. seth logan Says:

    im gay guys! hahaha

  21. carlos L Says:

    ????

  22. John Says:

    sweet its about damn time.
two great riders on a great team.

  23. Adam Aint Says:

Mindroll, I couldn’t have said it any better myself….but yeah Stockwell has been riding GC’s on and off for atleast a year, and i say this because in that one intuition ad where he has the skates with red painted cuffs he’s rockin em. Westside

  24. al dolega Says:

why would jeff and chris riding a different frame make them change their skate sponsor? think about it.

xsjado was sold by salomon to powerslide, which is the parent company of usd, deshi, kizer, stygma, undercover, and sifika. salomon did this because their new parent company, Amer (who bought Salomon from Adidas a year or two ago) decided that the entire inline division (which was 90% fitness/rec) wasn’t profitable and to pull out of the sport altogether. so production of salomon skates (rec, fitness, urban and aggressive) was halted, luckily matthias at powerslide was able to work a deal to purchase the xsjado brand and design outright.

in the united states, all of the powerslide brands are now distributed to skateshops by Integrated, which previous to this only handled sixwonsix, night hardware, and a few videos (and formerly 9mm and the cause).

xsjado stuff will continue to be made in the salomon factories for another year or so, so the skates won’t really change much (which is good, because they are great as they are) in that time. during that time, powerslide is going to work on an all-new xsjado boot that will probably drop in about a year and a half and will be made in the factories powerslide uses for production of all their other brands.

if jeff and chris are getting paychecks from GC, i can guarantee you two things: 1. it’s not much…. maybe enough for a big mac meal every couple of days, and 2. they probably could have gotten a comparable paycheck/offer from one of the other frame companies. once again, there’s a 99% chance that they both ride the frames because they like them.

  25. Old and Bitter Says:

    Argh.

  26. Tibo Says:

The frames are great but they brake…

  27. Elie Says:

If every skater does one trick you will have a one hour team video…

  28. spector Says:

thx al i was worried about that there leaving xsjado
ive got some basics with bullets and there fucking great

  29. behind-you Says:

cool, does tht meaa if Xsjado bring out Farmer 2’s they will have ground controls and 4×4 wheels….w00p
